I'm a Storm fan and about the only thing they could possibly claim is that Hughes took a small step towards Bromich and its not even really a step. Its more like he simply plants his feet where he is. But even if they claim that Fa'alogo was *ALREADY PAST* Bromich and gone. *IT HAD NO EFFECT ON THE PLAY*
What did you not understand? The explained it and everyone could see there's no stripping action by Ando. He was just making a tackle and Jessie deliberately loses the ball in trying to milk a penalty. Bet you still won't understand
@@peluskonabe6131 stripping action is irrelevant these days. hand all over the ball and loses and tackle was complete. penalty every day of the week. refs can't do their jobs especially the bunker. storm milked the obstruction defensive decision and still win that.
That wouldve been the try of the game by Faalogo if it wasnt for the sherperd call. Not sure about that call, the defender ran into the other players back tsk tsk
Man,Paps was on the other side of Hughes when he kicked that ball & Isaako ran the field. The fact that he still managed to chase him down, from the other side, was a beaut to watch! Even though it was all in vein for paps, the effort from both the lads was 👌🫡
Man papenhuyzen was much slower than 1 or 2 years ago there. He's significantly lost his speed. Back then he would have caught him eeasssily. Not still much now
@@peluskonabe6131 when?? He defs has less speed now unless you can point out where he ran quick. He was easily the speedster a few years ago, but his knee injuries have caused him to not be as good
the Deardon tackle in the Broncos game was both better and a try saver. papi is overrated and despite the storm winning trai fuller, the second string dolphins fullback, made papi look ordinary.
I blew up at the late tackle penalty at the 2:48 mark. Both sides were able to offload the ball and get that 2nd phase play. Reviewed that shepherd call and not going to fault the referee. I am thinking that the Dolphin player realised that he could not intercept the Storm and milked the penalty. Interesting scenario if both the Referee and Hughes were not in the in goal area. Try line defence was a key factor for the Storm win.
tru but also a bit more than that,Warbrick on the wing is always a threat ,the kid in # 5 off the bench is a game changer ,watch out oppos come finals time, you can already see that hes the rare ability to score from nothing and swing a game on a dime, pretty special the kid,Wishart has stepped up bigtime in the abscence of cam and Meaney in centre is on fire, the concern is Welch and his ability not to drop the ball at crucial stages early in the count, its cost Storm wins in finals in the past,if storm can get all players fit n Nelson firing i think they can go all the way..Katoa has made a huge difference i agree
Well reviewed with singleling out individuals. I only picked the best that changed the game. I didnt mention Hughes because he played his standard footy which is always class. Typical of Bellamy's 7s.
Shortest boxing career ever! Needs NRL more than they need him. "Featuring as the main event in the Brisbane Boxing Showcase, staged by his own promotion company, Pangai was flattened by Kenny Niko in just over one minute." 😂
absolutely horrible officiating. that late tackle wasn't late. robbed dolphins of a try at the end. fingers remained on the ball. storm milked an obstruction. the brommich challenge was a joke.
Refs got the call at halftime that storm better not loose this one 😂 Can’t tackle em, 2-on-1 strips called effecting a tackle Good effort by the fins against the 14 man side
Ref called a couple of tackled players back to play the ball on the mark. But never Trent Lolero, who walks off the mark consistently, in every game. Must have modelled his game on Pat Jarvis.
Couldn't make it as a boxer either. He needs NRL! Shortest career ever. "Featuring as the main event in the Brisbane Boxing Showcase, staged by his own promotion company, Pangai was flattened by Kenny Niko in just over one minute."
@26:30 Wishart scores after receiving a forward pass, by about 2 metres, this can be clearly seen. And Kodi Nikorima's score is disallowed after the Bunker declared that the Dolphins knocked on, if you pause the video you can clearly see that Papenhuyzen touches the ball.
That's what a Top 4 clash game should look like...well kinda.
It boggles the mind to think how good that game would have been if both sides had all their players available.

Only the 2nd year for the Dolphins in the League and they mean Business 💪🏽
Fa'alogo should have allowed to continue.
Bromich ran straight at Hughes and did a flop.
An Oscar Winning performance from Bromich.

Great game
The best game in years
It's the 'Elle' Katoa difference for Storm. He is the major factor. Kiwi boys won the game for the Storm. Sorry Reds. It could have gone either way.
I am a warriors fan, after watching that game i can't see the warriors going all the way this year either
Facts
Judging by the highlights Will Warbrick had a good game to, Both Katoa and Warbrick came from rugby union ,

Bromwich doing his best flop to get that obstruction penalty after the storm ran the ball out of goal. He was miles away from him and jogging at best
Game of the year
last 5 mins was pretty exciting to watch
One of the funnest games to watch this season
Imagine if Faalogo scored that try 😮
Jesse Bromwich wasn't even close to getting him, he was going to score for all money

Hope he learns.

That is not an obstruction for Hughes. How can the refs not tell when they’re milking it absolute joke
3:40 *that’s not a shepherd absolute bull*
if Bostock hadn't been knocked out in the first five minutes, forcing Herbie to play out of position at the wing, Dolphins had this game in the bag.
Phins did not lose they just ran out of time ❤
If Isaako goes for the corner, he scores
he could have done stuff turvua does in that small space but he had a large gap he should have backed himself
1:51 offside surley
Papii❤

This storm side doesnt have the same mongrel in it as the 00s-10s teams, but by god this side is more entertaining. Superb rugby league 👏
