@@jasonmanuel590 yeah he was giving soft penalties, like the first one, by the time he gave Aussie that first penalty aussie already had done the same thing, lying down near the play the ball several times, with the amount of go forward Tonga had.
They seemed to give up from about the 30th minute until the 60th minute. You can't go missing for that long in a game and expect a strong start and finish to get you a result.
What a game!!! Hats off to 🇦🇺. Tonga you did our little nation proud!!!!!!.🙏🏾🇹🇴.

I watched the game from an unbiased perspective and saw the faults of both sides.
And I don't like that referee because his calls always seem to be somewhat rigged looking at his previous games. Adam Gee was a more fair and decent referee.

You're pretending if you think that way. Go play for Tonga and see if you can last. All I'm saying is I would rather a ref who makes calls based on the game itself and not for the teams who are playing. I think the outcome would be close if there was an unbiased referee on that field.
Australia were so resilient with all the calls going against them, defending out their lines multiples sets in a row. This is a great effort from Australia and cant expect anymore.

@@lopeti21-sm1mm nah if you watch without bias you can clearly see the ref didnt help austalia at all. Australias forward pass got called back on by the bunker which is very rate. Australia handled one of the best middles in the game

The ref completely ignored Tonga's blatant forward pass right before the try line (01:22:34). Tonga couldn't win despite everything the ref gave them. Australia just had the superior team, simple as that.

Difference between aus and Tonga is that Australia has at least 5 or 6 players who can take charge and make calls where as Tonga only has the rookie halves. I wonder if alamoti didn’t get hurt would that be the difference because they saw he was hurt and scored on his side. Anyways congrats Australia.

Tonga shouldn't of even been in the final considering a penalty kick should of been given too NZ when two Tongan players were off side when Johnson went for a field goal. The non penalty was easy kick for two points...but somehow the bunker missed the off side Tongans. Btw in the final the Tongans were lucky Australia bombed 3 or 4 tries too make it look close.
