Everyone should consider knee pads in their woods kit. Helps keep knees dry when kneeling, provides stability for the knees. Makes it easy to break sticks for fires.

This tarp tent reminds of the first time we, dad & mom, & grandma, went camping at Sylvan Lake in South Dakota in a WALL TENT. I woke up the next morning and it was raining and the water made a path right through the middle of the tent - LMAO now, remembering that. 👀👀😂🤣😂🤣

Pinch off a two little pieces of steel wool, roll them between your fingers to about an inch long. You can use them with a 9v battery but you can also put them in each side of a 120v ac socket and touch together with a pencil, stick, etc.. with tissue or some other tinder source. Works great, don't ask!

At 60 with health issues I still get out and bushcraft but much slower and I have to modify it for my situation. I learn something from every video, if I can’t use it as shown I quickly find a way to modify it for my circumstances. I will highly recommend you to others looking for classes. Of course after you get them posted. Thanks for your service too.

I would love to see you grouping up with a friend in some future video, utilizing a larger shelter like this. Also, I'd like to send you a real Hungarian style klobasa, as we call them here in Slovakia. I am pretty sure you would love it. And perhaps you can try to make živánska - put potatoes, onions, bacon, klobasa, pepper, cheese and some fat + whatever you like into a bag, that you make from thick aluminium foilthen bury it into embers and let it cook for some 20 minutes. We do this all the time and it's so delicious. Thanks for another great video. Makes us look forward to every Sunday. Cheers from Slovakia.

Being fit even just a little bit can help you survive. I think that is something you should touch on in some of your videos.

I keep one of that exact tarp in each vehicle and each property, for shtf scenarios. Love what you did with it. I never see the three sided pyramid against a tree. I wonder if you would consider making one: place middle of wide length of tarp precisely one half the width on a tree with a single arbor knot. Lace or tie the rest of that side down the trunk, stake the far corners out. You have a completely enclosed isosceles triangle with a solid tree for your upright pole. It’s the most tropical storm proof portable shelter I’ve seen.
