This video and the reporters in such did a good job of presenting the facts, but they would have overall done much better if they would have been candid and just said the claims that CBS edited the video were "true," rather than the deceptive wording saying such claims "are not completely untrue" (are not false). Such was actually a way to diminish the significance of such claims, whereas squarely telling people such claims are "true" would amplify the significance of such claims. In other words, while the reporters in this video present themselves as giving an unbiased assessment of claims and fact checking such, the way they presented the results of such fact checking indicates they did so with bias to diminish the truth of the claims that CBS edited such interview to deceptively portray Harris in a more favorable light when her real and complete answer was unfavorable to her.
Basically when you are speaking on news of any kind, you can be potentially criminalized and or sued for how you say things in the event it’s true or not, it’s always dependent on who may want to pursue a legal case based on “false” or “true” statements, most people do this to avoid legal battles.
