Lived on the beach my entire 60 years. Never turn your back to a wave.

The water was so high it pulled it off it's foundation, and or if on stilts, the water current , aka that much water pushing ashore, undermined the stilts that held up house in the sand and collapsed, making the house fall into the water, trust me, I know, went through Ivan on Navarre Beach, , house in front of my house, WENT THROUGH my house and into the sound, goggle it
Husband and I and our 3 children were passing threw north Carolina when we stopped to feed kids the water came so fast we didn't have time to react it took our vehicle and all the others near us with our belongings thank God for the stranger that cash app our family 500 we wish we new who it was that was how we got home it will take us months to replace our vehicle but we are thankful to be alive god bless all affected by this horrific storm
