@Hurricane Helene: I'm on the West Coast. We have no idea of the massive destruction you are experiencing except for our wild fires which one fire will burn 10 acres plus acres including little towns and such. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Some areas of the country face devastating tornadoes. Why do we all rebuild? Because it is our home.
I learned long ago, as a Californian myself, to never judge others for where they live. Omg, I can’t imagine the pain of the owner of those houses. I feel the pain of losing. I hope they are ok. I can’t help but pray for them not to lose hope.
It's hard to imagine... I hope the people were evacuated? Finally the water recedes, and some roads are opened... you go home to see what's left and your house IS GONE, it's not even a bunch of wreckage! I'm from Miami, have seen a lot of hurricanes, a lot of destruction... I don't remember so much about houses just floating away.

Only God knows how much grateful i am. After so much struggles I now own a new house and my family is happy once again everything is finally falling into place!!
I started pretty low, though, $5000 thereabouts. The return came massive. Joey is in school doing well, telling me of new friends he's meeting in school. Thank you Susan Christy, you're a miracle.
I build homes but in Alaska. We build for earthquakes here and all our homes have structural metal strapping as well as bolted to the concrete with what is caused a J-bolt. Our homes can't just lift off and float off the concrete foundation. I wonder if they do the same in the lower 48? I'm thinking not?? I don't know. Either way, this is tragic.
@@bruceb9515 In some earthquake-prone areas, sure, but not for most. I live in a major earthquake zone (New Madrid), but almost no one takes it seriously enough to retrofit or build new, earthquake resistant homes. There are also minor earthquakes in Appalachia, but they're very minor.

I was wondering how it was even possible. A whole house? I’m assuming it was on a slab but even if it was on a crawl, the exterior frame is bolted right? At least the builds I’ve seen. Makes me wonder if this home is secured to the foundation and I live in a flood zone.
Never underestimate the power of Mother Nature. My heart hurts and tears come when I see this devastation of peoples homes. I’m just so sorry for all who lost so much.

Omg, I can’t imagine the pain of the owner of those houses. I feel the pain of losing. I hope they are ok. I can’t help but pray for them not to lose hope.
Who would had ever thought they would watch their house wash down the road, my heart goes out to these people,
It's hard to imagine...
Красиво плывут
😢 my heart is broken 💔 for all of them. Lord Jesus please help us! 🙏
Lord heavenly Father I pray God will help sustain your pain. There are no words to express how much it hurts to see these families go through this.😢
@sherriemiller9651....stop that...do you even believe that this would be done by someone whom you pray to...wake up...he isn't there...this is nature...climate changes...not god!!!
Absolutely horrifying. I just sit in silence and cry and can't believe what people have been through. I'm devastated that so many people and animals lost their lives and their homes. I wish I were rich and I could help so many people right now.
And where is Oprah and all the rich slobs with their donations ?? Oh ...what they haven't ...their busy peddling for that moron VP who hasn't done s-it !!!
Oh how I hurt for folks who are watching their homes or businesses wash away.
I'm favoured only God knows how much I praise Him, $230k every 4weeks! I now have a big mansion and can now afford anything and also support God’s work and the church.
Only God knows how much grateful i am. After so much struggles I now own a new house and my family is happy once again everything is finally falling into place!!
Wow that's huge, how do you make that much monthly?
I'm 37 and have been looking for ways to be successful, please how??
It's Ms. Susan Jane Christy doing, she's changed my life.
I started pretty low, though, $5000 thereabouts. The return came massive. Joey is in school doing well, telling me of new friends he's meeting in school. Thank you Susan Christy, you're a miracle.
I live here in NC and am bewildered how our coastal towns were skipped over (our entire island was basically wiped out from past hurricanes)
Those two homes were built exceptionally well. Kudos to the builder!!
AGREE! I know my home would have folded seconds after coming off its foundation even without water forces.
Those look like large sheds or something you'd call a cabin that's basically like a large shed.
IKR? I'm amazed that they just floated downstream and weren't destroyed
These people will need mental support for years. Omg, very traumatic. I can't imagine the level of pain: physically, mentally, emotionally, psychologically. 😣
Wow, pretty well built, they stayed together for a while...
Well, the damn breach too that had a lot to do with 30 inches of rain and the 24 hour. Period.
The sheer power of water is unbelievable!
I pray to God for these people Lord help him
What a catastrophe, theres no words, all there lifes there hard work, down these waters. Just breaks my heart, i know its material, but when you worked so hard for something and sacrificed it hurts. We are flesh. I hope they start getting all the help they need asap 😢
How sad. I pray for people who have lost their homes…so many…worldwide. It’s heartbreaking but I pray God will be very real to them in His saving grace, love and comfort.
did the dam break?
Goes to show it doesn't matter what you have it can all be taken away in a blink of an eye ...id be devastated i dont know if i could mentally take it
A Truly tragic and terrifying storm. It was the worst of times.
It's just begun!
I cannot imagine! The sound alone is terrifying!
So horrible to see what these people have gone through! Sending prayers 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Its absolutely insane to me how a home can just be picked up and carried away. These poor people. I can't even imagine the turmoil they're all going through and i pray that there's nobody still stranded in the middle of nowhere.
just pure disbelief. So stunned; can only repeat what others have said, & grateful for the footage to encourage those who can, to please help; SO many in need...,where do these homes end up ,btw?
Imagine watching your house float away……..
Yea. Even the hardest of men would break
Gill Bates is happy. 😢
Unwise to be standing there
Especially when he started walking in the flooded road.
Until you see it in action it's just a news report but now watching this makes it reality. My heart is broken for all affected by this disaster. May God be with you now and after your devastation. 😢✝️💔
I am so sorry. God bless you all .
My prayers are with everyone who lost loved ones and their homes. God Bless you all.
Oh I'm praying for all of you. It's just so horrible.
😢😮 I first saw that house on The weather channel the other day. They say it washed away off the foundation and went into the other house and then that house washed away too. Boy the power of a river and raging water. It's got power to move something like that. Thank you.
I was wondering how it was even possible. A whole house? I’m assuming it was on a slab but even if it was on a crawl, the exterior frame is bolted right? At least the builds I’ve seen. Makes me wonder if this home is secured to the foundation and I live in a flood zone.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything like this…wow
Never underestimate the power of Mother Nature. My heart hurts and tears come when I see this devastation of peoples homes. I’m just so sorry for all who lost so much.
Hart breaking 😭 I feel so bad for these folks. I pray to God 🙏🙄 to send his Angels there to help you all. Amen
OMG….my heart goes out to everyone who has lost their loved one’s and furry friends. and to those who lost their belongings. I know some things are irreplaceable. 😢😢❤🇨🇦 God love you !
So horrific and heartbreaking sending prayers💔🙏🏻💔🙏🏻
Personally, there’s no way I’d be out there filming this because it looks like that person could’ve easily been washed away too.
What difference does it make whether the person stands out there in shock or films it?
These people didn't have anywhere to be inside or away from it.
Are there families inside of those home?
With all respect...these home builders did amazing work to keep that form...crazy mother nature at her best.
Please tell me those structures were unoccupied?
Full, 3 families deep in each.
@@P2Feener3053 families each? Lies
@@chuckm6274unfortunately they’re just being smart 🍑 because the OP said please tell me those structures WERE instead of weren’t.. even though they fully know what they meant.
@@Jen-le3ui No, they said it right they wanted to know they were unoccupied. If they meant weren't unoccupied then they would have meant they hoped people were in them.
They were probably currently “lived in”, yes. But, hopefully, the inhabitants had vacated before the flooding got to that stage.
Praying for everyone.❤
yes.
Praying now 🙏
my heart just sank watching this footage.
So sorry for everyone who has lost their homes and belongings. Just hope no pets or people died. Pray that you all get back on your feet and get financially stable again
When world wide tragedies have happened in the past, the USA has always been there to help. Are there any other countries helping with this country's hurricane devestation?
