Used to listen to this show all the time with my dad in the car on Sundays. RIP Tom. It was a great show because even non-car people could enjoy it and learn something about how cars work! This was public radio at its finest.
I know next to nothing about cars but I listened to these two great, super intelligent men for years. I put this episode on and cracked up all the way thru. As for humor, few comedians can touch these natural born funny guys. God I miss them. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
I miss this show!! I know Ray misses his brother, Tom. Click & Clack…There will never be another show like “Car Talk”! Who else could have entertained me for an hour by debating the usefulness (or not) of a particular motor oil?!!? 🤷♂️ Huh?! Am I right?! Yes, I’m right!! 😂 Rest In Peace, Tom.
car talk was AND is great........... I have loved every show. I can listen any show multiple times and sill just as funny as the first. So happy I found this............ just like old times. RIP
I came out of a Rutters gas station and over heard click& clack coming from a van and had to talk to the person about it, what great memories. Loved that show 💓😁👍😁💓
The Buick Roadmaster guy, I used to love when people would come into my shop with oversized rims and complain about drivability issues. You want low profile, wide rims on a daily driver in New England? Ok but you're going to pay a LOT more than the cost of the rims 😂

This was my most favorite show of all time pure genius real knowledge of actual cars 🚗 + humor and a lil bit of philosophy mixed in for good measure was the recipe for success😂😮🫡
I forgot how much I enjoyed this show and these people. So glad to hear this again

NPR has really went downhill.

I remember my dad putting this on the radio when we went on road trips
I can't believe Tom has been gone for 9 years now.
What do you mean?
@@aaronreed5754 I mean it doesn't seem like 9 years since he passed away.
This is the best show on the radio..I hate when they take it off on npr...
Yeah and it was very rude of Tom to pass away a couple of years ago.

I miss them also! Loved their role in Cars as the bumper treatment reps.!

Their accents reminds me of the 3 Stooges in some ways.😊
Life philosophies from comics. PAHAHA!!!!!!!
