@@WitchYuki22 The transmission performance is actually really great. It can shift in 0.1 seconds, which is faster than just about every other torque converter automatic. And it was designed in 2006. Imagine calling that outdated - it was way ahead of its time.
bro this car LOOKS fast
2002 Lincoln LS V8 sleeper usually around 3k 100k miles in the south
Approved 🎱
My Ford Taurus SHO is a true sleeper 💯👍
A sleeper is my dad's 1979 Ford F-100 long bed. That would blow the doors off that Lexus.
Exhaust is everything on a top spec luxury car
Looks like a sports car too me
U can get a scat pack wide body for that price. Or even a used hellcat with low mileage. Better yet. A regular scat pack and save 20 grand and use 5000 for upgrades
R63 AMG is the true sleeper 😂
Its either a hellcat charger or this one💯
“damn i like that” lol
The V8 will one day be a legend
Imagine how surprised people will be when the clearly expensive high class luxury car is actually fast
Your idea of a sleeper: 66k bright red Grand Touring car with sport exhaust.
My idea of a sleeper: 1999 buick with the supercharged V6 and a pulley swap.
Lol at people who think price defines sleeper... you think most people on the road will know this cars value?
If Lexus gave their V10 another go for the send off of the ICE. I’d save my money for whatever car they put it in. I love V10’s! And Lexus actually made a V10 that makes me want to do a swap in an R8. But, I don’t have an R8, a Lexus V10, or money.
ICE isn't going anywhere, unless consumers change their minds.
wild that the equivalent Cadillac has a TT V6, but the Lexus has an NA V8 😂 both 472hp
Interior’s 1,000 years old and the transmission is (reliable, but) the slowest shifting ever.
The car drives similar to my 2021 Mazda 3.
lol sure, 0.1 seconds is SO SLOW.
I almost thought that was a coyote in there!
Just like the 2008 Toyota 5.0 it can go almost 180mph from factory like it’s nothing.
Ive apways kinda liked how these looked, but now that i know its a genuine sleeper makes me want one as a daily. Like if i has a car i was modding, and obe just to go get groceries with. This would be it.
Too bad I’m not gonna be able to buy one new, gotta be used
You don’t know what a sleeper is. But I want this.
They will drop an ISF with that body but upgrade of an F. Trust me, save the cash
Oh cool another mustang
Daang! A v8 toyota camry! Thats bad arse!
no
The interior doesn't look dated to me. Its probably the geometric style and arrangement of buttons that you don't like, but overall it looks great. Also this vehicle does not have anything in the slightest form to do with a sleeper. You might as well call a Cadillac Escalade V a sleeper if that's the case. A good example of a sleeper would be a Toyota Camry V6 Hybrid. The torque in that thing is abrupt and disrespectful.
You can get a 455hp Volvo that looks much more like a normal car and much less like a sports sedan. More sleeper like if you ask me. Also things like the bmw i4 m50 is one of the quickest small sedans on the market and it looks like nothing special. EVs have taken over the sleeper game
Oh yes, the IS line from Lexus always know as the sleeper of their lineup and not their sporty oriented sedan….
Nothing says sleeper like a sporty Lexus
$66 ain’t bad considering the market for em.
I love Lexus. Everything about it is amazing. The only thing that bothers me a little is that massive grill design. Not a huge fan.
Remember when Altimas were considered sleeper cars? 2002 3.5 Altimas were faster than at the time Mustangs 4.6 😂
This car is an amazing purchase I promise, just be sure to get full coverage warranty. It’s a modern Lexus after all.
Gotta say. 66k isn’t bad for that much car. Considering what else you can get for 60k even it’s still not bad.
Dated must mean it doesn't have a huge tablet in the dash... i'm completely cool with my analog, dated IS500
This would have been THE CAR if they offered it in a manual.
This isn't a sleeper car. Even all the comments agree
Imagine how different this cars popularity would be if it had a manual.
A sleeper is a car that looks slow but is very fast, such as a Tesla swapped isetta
Can't sit inside a Lexus knowing its not a LFA
You can't sit in any Lexus then. Good luck finding an LFA to sit in. I have been up close with one, but I didn't even ask to sit in it because I don't know the owner like that.
If you think this is a sleeper you are new to the car scene lol
There’s a lot of sleepers in rust, u just gotta roam the beach
