Welcome to another week of DIYs!! This week, I wanted to work on hacking some pieces from IKEA with ideas that I’ve had in my head for a while and I wanna make them come to life. These are definitely going to look way more expensive than your basic IKEA piece. And I think you can take the techniques I’m using and translate them into other projects, so I hope these give you some ideas on how to transform literally anything into something beautiful!

The coffee table would make great side tables too! Loved the candle!
You might try Rub n Buff for gilding raised elements like the veining on the wings. You can dry brush it on really quickly and it comes in various metal shades.

That brass paint was GORGEOUS!!! I probably would have attempted a RubNBuff, which is great. But would have been a different finish and pretty in it's own right. But that brass paint was such a beautiful but subtle contrast. I'm gonna have to check that out. These all turned out lovely. Thank you so much for sharing. 🥰
I also thought about doing Rub N Buff at first too, but the gilding paint just adds such a bright shine to the pieces!! 😍

At this point, I think you should just start a home decor line. I dont have the skill or patience to make a killer pandle like that, but I'd buy that little cutie do damn fast. I love you left that part in....its so me.

I've seen a lot of budget candles with lids in glass, even have several at home already. I feel like getting some acrylics and making a collection of the dupe version of that blue candle you showed with the greenery and flowers!

That candle was awesome👍very uplifting...will we see a library wall in a future project to store all your BOTM books?..my local library has a similar BOTM program for books, and also includes audiobooks...we are lovin' it, since we don't have a lot of space, it works for us.

My mouth dropped open when I saw the final result of the candle. It is one of the most beautiful DIY projects I have ever seen on RUclips. I would pay a nice sum for a product like that, if you ever chose to see them, in any color!!! And as always, you inspire me to push my own creativity in the projects I make. This month is all about Easter and grandchildren.... finding crafts that are age appropriate and fun to do!!

OMG! The candle jar is so gorgeous. I'm thinking a trinket box would be great, too. I've never used air-dry clay but maybe this would work with it. The other projects are great, too.
