HAHA best expert comment av seen well done pal :)
Look ive got the lost bullet
Rick , best can do is 10 dollars, ive got to get it framed, ive got people to pay and the cat has got kittens

Hahaha this was a great comment
More like the police officer who made the report lol

yeah... hence the words "we'll meet". Meaning you won't be going together. duh.

@@viciousoz4188 I know right.
Rick: “I don’t even know if I can sell this super infamous thing everyone knows about.”
Yeah, so I'll keep it for myself, for a grand?
It’s all public records. It’s just a more nerdier, throw-back way to view it. But who’d pay TEN GRAND for something that doesn’t even have exclusive knowledge?
That’s available at every library in the world 🤦🏻♂️
@@m.p.sutherlandjr.6905 The Mona Lisa is also a publicly-available image. But the original painting is worth a little something.

lol I was just saying the same thing to people.
the guy wasn't selling the original documents, just a copy of them in film, so your analogy doesn't hold.
@@zezesilver It doesn't need to be the original item. A first edition printing of Shakespeare's First Folio sold for 5 million dollars in 2006.
@@zezesilver picasso etchings are another example
What would you pay for a photo of the mona lisa? I'd say $1,000.00 would be over paying.
I've seen rick cheap out, but this was on a whole new level.
He saw an opportunity with saying, I wont be able to sell it. I am thinking that thing wont stay on the shelves longer than a week if it is original evidence to who shot the President.
There was no estimate price though. He may have low balled it just as much as the owner may have been asking way too much. We just don't know.
Whats the worse case you've seen Ricky cheap out
Contact the show and buy it for $10K.
He went full on hebrew
"this is crucial evidence to solve the president's assassination case"
Rick: 2 grand, not a penny more.

😂

Guy: literally sells history
Rick: I'll give you a grand for it
You can pay more, contact the guy!
I was gonna say the same thing.
Feel free to put your money where your mouth is, and buy the microfilm for more than the seller wants.
Everything is available publicly.. so.. a grand is pretty good, that's like a bit more than the average salary a month.
I'm buying Rihanna for 2 grands .since everyone album is available publically.
Update: He sold the piece at auction for 12 thousand
Can you confirm ? Thanks
Low ball Rick strikes again
commission + fees, he could only do 2k and make money off of it. he probably could have gone higher but 10k was the lowest the guy wanted to go and... rick couldn't have done 10k and still made money off of it.
Nice I bet he was kicking himself for not offering a better offer than that.
To an unknown buyer and hasnt been since...

When the show first came out I was annoyed by Mark’s policy of not putting a price on items but with time he’s become by far my favorite expert on the show and also I fully understand why he doesn’t price items.
It was claimed Oswalds call never got through to the CIA contact. This says whoever he phoned...the call was half an hour long. Also his possessions list - a MINOX camera, a miniature spy camera.
it's because Mark once gave Rick a price and Rick ended up getting less for it at an auction and he got really mad at Mark, so now Mark doesn't give any prices. he says pricing these artifacts is like a gamble because you don't know how much someone will pay for it.
Expert: "The problem with microfilm is that viewing it degrades it, so no one would be allowed to view the master copy"
Also the expert: "Let's go view this master copy"
Copying it
"everybody knows where they were when JFK was assassinated"
I wasn't born then.
So.... You DO know where you were then
@Picolas Cage oscar bait right there
I know, it was 1963. Even my dad (whos really old) was a few months old
I was born 9.5 years later.
I'm still not born. Writing this from the womb!
2:22, dude gets in his car, turns on the ignition and his vehicle blows up. We'll never know what happened in Dallas that day!
Most of this case has been solved for over 50 years.. We know who, how and why.. Read my comment in the main section it sums up everything..
We know… We knew 12 hours after the crime.. The cop killer did it..
If you're buying it "for yourself" then you should buy it at a fair retail price. Not lower than wholesale.
Exactly. I probably would have bought it for 10k myself.
#2:23 "so I'll meet you guys at the library" - everyone take a different path 😂
Yes, Rick probably has to let Cory or the old man know he's headed out, Mark probably needs the washroom n the other guy is on his way there
“Everyone remembers where they were when JFK had been shot”

"You should never put the master tape through a machine, so let's go to the library and put it through a machine". ?
gonshocks probably had poor quality machines at the time
I can't believe how they're dumbing down the Springfield Library. They've gotten rid of the English literature section... and replaced it with a make-your-own-sundae bar.
I heard they got rid of the reference desk to make room for an air hockey table.
Even the microfilm?
Even the microfiche.
I like pizza.
The real question here, do they have a good Salad Bar?
was this dude almost crying at the end?? lmaoo look at the tears in his eyes and the shakiness of his voice.
Maybe his dad or grandfather gave it to him or something
If he’s that emotional from something his dad or grandfather gave him he wouldn’t be selling it

Rick: I wanna find out who shot jfk
The shooter of jfk: *Nervous laugh*
Thanks for the upload!
Imagine getting shot and people turn you into a collectible
and they're getting some yuks out of it except for the rim shots.
Ever heard of a crucifix? Or Jesus?
You see, there's a difference between looking at pictures of something online and actually holding the real pictures themselves, did they forget that?
“So, I’ve got a friend who can tell if this is authentic or not”
*Lee Harvey Oswald walks in*
"I will tell you the identity of the assassin who shot jfk for $150k."

Because Rick saw Investigative Reports
"The Men Who Killed Kennedy: The Forces of Darkness"
Nice video as usual
Rick: "Let me call a friend of mine"
(The 35th president of the USA come's in the library)
"the masters were never put in a machine so they didn't get scratched."
"to see if they're real we'll have to go put it in a machine."

The new machine probably has a better system then the old machines making it less likely to scratch
Plus the librarian must need some sort of special degree to handle something so valuable
@@StaceyIsles lol... if they had a degree they wouldn't be stuck in a library.

You go to college to become an librarian.
Well done m8. A rare collection of information.
Guy comes in: can I get change for this $100 bill?
Rick: i can give you $30 in quarters for it...I’m taking all the risk.
I was just looking online to see the clips and on the National Archives it says that the micro film wasn't ever really released so, kind of cool.
1:00 "So the gov't was trying to cover stuff up" hahahahahaha
Rick, another classic "I laugh at something I said" moment.
The FBI museum now knows where their JFK /Oswald microfiche is now..
The true assassin was among others Mack Wallace, Lyndon Johnson's go to hit man. His fingerprint was found on the cartridges used in the sniper's nest in the Book Depository.
Joan Mellin debunked that in her book on LBJ.. And she is an avid conspiracy believer..
Blurry copy of the original, examined by 2 people who were not experts.. So, she got the actual print from the archives and 2 accredited experts to examine it in the blind.. No match..
*guy brings in $1,000,000 cash*
Rick: I'll give you $350 and not a penny more
"I want this for myself therefore I don't want to pay the full value for it."
people on Pawn Stars be like I just found a book on how to become immortal! Hmmm maybe I’ll take it to a pawn shop and see how much money I can get?!
Literally. Some people find a book for a few dollars at a garage sale and it ends up being worth thousands.
I love how a Public Library in Las Vegas, has a significantly more advanced microfilm reader, then the University of Southern Denmark, I was using one of those old-school semi-mechanical monstrosities.
Philip Balfour bro I live in Vegas and it’s only that one trust me 😐
Well, hi from 6100 Denmark
I'm always blown away by Mark's knowledge. Man is so impressive.
It's called google search before the show.
Nobody:
Rick: let me call up my buddy
Very cool!
Rick: let me call a buddy of mine who I think shot JFK
I just realised that Rick gave the same confused look as the one he had when he saw the Charizard cards.
Guy can't help he doesn't know the difference between a Charizard and a poke'mAn right?
The Disaster Girl original photo sold for almost $500K and everyone has access to that photo too. But they don't have access to the original. This is the original master copy, and it's the only one in existence in the world, ever. What the seller has is a piece of history of a time that will forever be remembered.
“The sentimental value is to high for me”. lmao.
I’m a big fan I watch this every day
Hi! Thanks for being a #PawnStars fan!
Ricks laugh tells me he is a super heavy smoker

3 toe nails and a suspiciously warm gummy worm, I'm taking a huge risk here.
The gunsmith in “ shooter” has the assassin’s shovel!🤣🤣

Rick: I don't know to much about this artifact but I can tell you Barbara is out of shark tank.
Rick: Best I can do is let you watch me do the macarena
Wow. that's crazy.
"I don't know if I'll be able to sell it...".................LOL.
Rest in peace JFK... I wasn't born until 1975. N it shocks me today. How he was killed. So sad...

Suggestion for an episode:
Guy: *brings in Egyptian ruler's mummy
Rick: The highest I can go is 20 bucks and nothing more.
Zombert 997 there called Pharaohs
Actually, they paid $30,000 for one. :D
@@shanecormier1 I remember seeing that episode.
I noticed one of the DPD documents show a MINOX CAMERA listed among Oswald's property which the FBI later changed to a MINOX LIGHT METER found in Ruth Paine's home said to belong to Lee Harvey.
It turned out that Ruth Paine's estranged husband (they were seperated) Michael Paine owned a MINOX CAMERA too which about ten days later were found in a Coffee Can in Ruth Paine's kitchen.
Aaron from Australia
Nice
Someone would pay loads for that ,
Ok just watched this, I have an issue with them saying this is a master negative - this is quite clearly a working positive copy. You can tell the difference due to the fact that the master background is completely clear, and the positive is black as this one is. I have worked in the preservation microfilm industry for 35 years so I know the difference.
I would assume that the library who made this film still hold the Master Negative in cold storage as it should be.
The content of this positive copy is probably where the value is not any other reason.
But then I could probably order a copy from the library who has the master for $100 .
Ooooh.... Nice.... Hats off to your wisdom! 👏🎖️🏆🏅Would love a copy of this!
They wouldn't know it's "the best copy"
