As someone who also just recently getting back to Vanguard, i feel you on your confusion on the whole timeline thingy bruh, the Vanguard universe, with all those new timelines and alternate realities really made Fox's X-Men timelines seems simple... (not to mention in the latest series, the Vanguard DIvinez, one of the main plot point is literally one of the character goes back in time to create a new timeline within an already altered timeline, so go figure)

You haven't watched the Neon Messiah movie, have you? If you haven't I'd highly recommend it before you go back to G. It's really important to understanding Ibuki (though the reboot also works, even if the events themselves are different). Once I figured out you haven't heard of most of the newer stuff, I was just salivating waiting for you to get to Extra Story: IF. That show is peak WTF in the best way possible.
