- STEPN is a Move 2 Earn game building on Solana and really getting into the communities eyes and minds. It's a very basic start to the game, you move for 10 minutes a day with an NFT of a pair of sneakers, and you earn $GST every day!
Today's video I discuss the statistics behind levelling to 9 or 19 before you save up to get your vault of sneakers increasing toward 3 and that magical 4.0 energy!

i would recommend using the STEPN guide to provide estimated GST/day numbers to model out payback periods for both scenarios. The only unknown that makes this difficult is that with the extra mints you have a chance at an uncommon or an extra shoebox which would change the payback significantly. I personally am at 10 shoes and putting all my GST into minting new shoes before levelling up past the level 10 that i'm on
remember level 28 is maximum atm, but I always think having sneakers at level 19 is a good level. Personally I think ppl levelling up to 28/30 is underestimated. It's not that bad to level up with your amount of sneakers.

Is there any limit of GST earnings per sneaker or per level or per time.. any limit? Can you use your level 9 sneakers for 2, 3 years (while ofc reparairing them often)?

Question: I’m new to the Stepn. I bought a waling shoe for about 10 Sol (level 5 that’s been minted 2/7). Base efficiency is 6.3 (21.3 leveled up) and resilience 5.2 (10.2 leveled up). I’ve still got 10 Sol left, should I keep leveling up my current walking shoe or buy a second one? Any suggestions is much appreciated, thanks!
there's a bit to think about there, do you want ti mijt fir your third or buy that also. watch the 0 or 2 mint video may help

1.) If I keep using the sneaker, would I be able to stop at 9 and just earn GST for my next sneaker?
2.) Will it be a good strategy to just level up sneakers to 9 accumulate GST then follow the mint 0-1 mint strategy, to accumulate more sneakers. To eventually sell them To get uncommon sneakers?

yes it is a viable option, you can use a website to check of the potential in earning differences at level 19. try stepn.guide and do the specific information in that

Hi, I´m a new beginner and got myself a common walker. I´ve levelled up to 9 and spreading the points as the Stepn Guide recommends. But what is that Resilience Socket on top left corner good for that I can open for 10 GST?. What will that benefit me? In what sense.

Towards the end of this vid at the 5 min mark you mention about making a video about the pros and cons of moving from a Level 9 strategy to a Level 19 strategy. Have you made this video yet, or will you be doing it sometime soon? I just got my first sneaker (a Runner) to Level 9 so am looking at the best way of proceeding from here. Thanks!
Hi mate, sorry no. basically lvl 9 is a great stopover for 1 sneaker, 19 is a good stopover for 3 sneakers

Stop levelling up until I have saved enough to buy a 0 mint sneaker, then save up until I have enough to Mint a 3rd. Or invest more money to buy / mint quicker. My original runner is a 2mint.

Co-Founders were actually next door neighbours in Adelaide, plenty of the team in Adelaide and Sydney which is big reasons to do live events in those cities first.
I think in general there is alot of Aussie streamers and RUclipsrs, hence making content that is usually I find better to digest, we arent here to kiss arse, we like objective opinions, that's super i.portant for me in the space

isn't it best if i buy a sneaker with efficiency ~70 and 2 more sneakers (no matter how much just to have 4 energy) and run only with this sneaker that has efficiency 70? to make as more gains as possible for the beginning?

you cab do either, people will level and sell lvl 19 sneakers and usually add the cost to that sneaker as they may change their sneaker to a new one.
You can work that out before searching proces etc

I like level 19 for 3 sneakers, if you plan it well you can play the MB game without overspending points in Luck as well, worth taking thw time to plan earlier as you're levelling
To level up from 9 to 10 I need GST and GMT, is the latter purchased with Sol?

Was thinking of buying 2 more sneakers for more energy/longer term earnings at that awesome 3 sneaker 4 energy point.
Or would it be better to buy 1 (0 mint) sneaker and mint it with my current for my 3rd shoe?
You can see the math required - if you mint off your runner, will cost you 250 GST if you buy a second sneaker with 0 mints - that's still a good option, and it would then mean you mint your 3rd, and set yourself up to do a 0/1 minting strategy as I talk about in another video

@@kR1TIcH it's the fact that you go running when you have max energy and just before the recharge time. This way you recharge DURING your run which allows you to do 125% run compared to your usual run. This increases the chances to get a mystery box

Hi I have 2 C & 1 UC joggers. I'm at L9 now. how best to proceed next I nearly have 200 GST saved. should I level up, mint or buy a new shoe (but 4 won't do anything will it?) I'll have to buy 6 more to get more energy is that right?
I'd consider going to level 19, and you could use gems to gapnthe difference on your way to 9 sneakers

you get 4 stat points every level with a common, you choose where to allocate them

Yeah I sat on the fence a while and now have just been getting to lvl 28 main with 2 2mints, feel like this isn't the most efficient way but resale value of lvl28 is very high

Im in the exact same boat im going to grind to 9 nfts & hopefully get an uncommon in the process. When i get to 9 im going to just become a minting and selling the 10th mint machine and taking profits. 1. Because i dont want to have to just walk around for hours in end everyday 2. Who knows how long these coin prices will last and with 9 nfts and a level 19 earner you can do a new mint every 3-4 days making $1100 or just hoard the gst and convert to usdc. I feel like this is the safe play to shoot for

I think it would be cheaper to mint a 3rd shoe for 200 gst
I agree on minting at 200 GST, you've now set yourself up superbly for the 0/1 mint flip strategy. You have a chance to hit an UC, Trainer or twins when you mint, and you may even miny an upgrade. you alsp dont nees to use all 15 SOL doing that

increasing your level will allow you more base stats, so higher earnings, or less repair costs, or access to mystery boxes, these are all options. Usually at level 9 you wont have put points into Luck for MBs

bought my lvl 5 sneakers for 10 sol and sold them on lvl 19 yesterday for 3k, I will wait until the hype is over and will invest again in cheap sneakers and lvl them up

It's the last gem slot, and was nominated as a special level in the original scope of the game, being at level 20 there used to be a "Long Buff" come into effect from 20. It's stayed that way, so level 5,10,20,30 are stiill teh special levels, being 2x/3x/4x/5x

@@getabhi211 that's ypur maximum possible daily, so maybe in special event etc you could earn more, consider level 20 this week for your main earning pair, I'll have videos this week about why

@@silasrp yes, no luck with 1 sneaker, and depending on how much base luck or gem slots you have depends on your 4.0 strategy, 16-20 luck woth 4.0 energy is enough
