"WE ARE PIRATES" is featuring former RUNNING WILD guitar player MAJK MOTI who is fighting the evil pirate king and has to prove himself by dueling ORDEN OGANs guitarist TOBI.
Singer Seeb states: "Running Wild has always been a big influence to us. WE ARE PIRATES is the ultimate Running Wild homage. It was sad to hear that they are going to play their farewell show at this years WACKEN OPEN AIR. This is our way to say THANK YOU ROCK'N'ROLF for many hours of great music!"
If you take a closer look you will find out that the lyrics are completely based on Lucas Arts / Lucasfilm Games adventure classic MONKEY ISLAND.

Finally! Some historical proof! As this rare (highly authentic) clip shows, it was not lead pirates loaded into their firearms, but, in fact, heavy metal. As new evidence comes to light, it has been demonstrated that pirates frequently slew both each other & their naval enemies with blasts of heavy metal & that ship's musicians were an essential part of any crew. As shown here, any pirate deemed incapable of what was called 'rocking out' was no longer a useful fighter & was summarily executed.

I love this video!! Not because it's particularly professional, because it obviously isn't and some of those people can't act very well and the fake-fighting is very fake, but that's precisely why I love it. Because it's clearly made by a bunch of ordinary blokes messing around as pirates and having a lot of fun and just being themselves and that's what I love to see. If my friends and I had more resources, this is totally the kind of video we would make. We have enough contrived junk as it is.

I understand what you mean, but at work I listen to powermetal for hours on headphones and a song is suppose to tell a story. I like the song but I can't stand listening to it at work. Before seeing the music video I imagined a group of pirates getting together and remembering their past. But now when I listen to it. I cannot see that story anymore.
