This interview is a perfect example of why the industry needs older artists still making music. You don't get this type of interview from young rappers because they are deficient in knowledge and experience. Respect the OG MCs: Snoop, Nas, Red & Meth, Black Thought, Common, Ghost Face, AZ, The Lox, etc.

Death humbles us all. It reminds us that there is an end. It takes away the ones we hold dear. It takes away our opportunity to say our last goodbye or apology. Watching this interview, I’ve realized that Charlamagne really is a great interviewer. He ask follow up questions and knows when to ask certain questions. When the artist gives a serious answer or gets a little emotional it’s weird to then ask a question that has nothing to do with what the artist just said. I know people have talked about Envy’s questions, timing or him just going silent during interviews but I never really noticed it until the Mozzy interview and now this one.

This is the best breakfast club interview in years. Literally it was flawless. And I haven’t been a fan of theirs for over 5 years but this interview was perfect. CTG typically always asks the best questions. Can’t front he knows how to interview someone. It probably would have been an even better interview if it were just him and snoop but all in all it was a flawless sitting I must say. I’m glad they didn’t try to slander Em again. And snoop showed a lot growth and admitted to being out of pocket cuz we don’t need to see that. I hated that snoop and Em situation ughh. I grew up on both of them so that shit was bad for HipHop and even tho I knew snoop was dead wrong for his comments I also didn’t like the fact Em dissed him. Im glad it was a light jab, something you could def come back from which they did. Super bowl bout to be lit. God bless his mother’s soul 🙏🏾 I hope he keeps his spirits up and his positive energy vibrant. #RipMommaSnoop #RipDreGma

Shout out to Snoop. I also lost my mom dukes back in 2019, March 18th, 9 days after Biggie's 22nd anniversary. Snoop should run the new Death Row, or continue to do what he is doing with the Def Jam deal. Also, he is correct on the word, RECOUP!. There's nothing more important than understanding the difference between Major and Independent. In conclusion, yes, independency is more of a risk and you cannot expect to go global the way a major label would propel you to be in perpetuity to said universe. 🔥
