Not really of interest to me. Here are some great videos that helped me when I was working on this pistol. There is a complete disassembly and reassembly of the slide and frame. ruclips.net/video/NoN7DZxN1HU/видео.html ruclips.net/video/1QFDZwVeFnA/видео.html ruclips.net/video/rTs2cDlZVUo/видео.html ruclips.net/video/zUCaCY60p_g/видео.html
The Beretta 84BB Cheetah pistol has never been a service weapon of either the Police or the Carabinieri, the two judicial police forces of the Italian State. These police forces have been equipped with the Beretta mod. 34 pistol since the post-war period. In the 60s/70s the Beretta Mod. 51 Brigadier pistol was adopted and between the end of the 80s and the beginning of the 90s the Beretta Mod. 92sb pistol and its evolutions were adopted. All weapons strictly in 9x18 caliber. Only the Guardia di Finanza adopted the Beretta Mod. 84bb f pistol in 9 short caliber. Since 2023 it has adopted the 92FS, PX4 Storm pistols. The Guardia di Finanza (acronym G. di F. or GdF) is one of the Italian police forces with a military organization, with general competence in economic and financial matters. It is directly dependent on the Minister of Economy and Finance. All the weapons of the Italian police forces are in 9x18 caliber.
Me personally? no. This is of course largely based on preference. It is a double single action with a thumb safety and no decocker. Double/single action hammer fired guns are my preferred action to carry. If they have a decocker. I like the ease of dropping that hammer with the decocker to the safety catch, then being able to cover the hammer while I put it back into retention. I am not a fan of single action only hammer fires pistols for carry purposes.
Artistic, humorous and educational. Sold me, I subscribed
haha thanks man I really appreciate it!
The Cheetah name didn't come in to play until 1995. The surplus pistols are from the mid 1980's.
Thanks for the clarification. Bet the Italians wouldn't call them a Cheetah either haha.
Just fantastic 👏
Where did you purchase the grips? I would like to get the woods grips for mine.

Thank you!@@EngineersArmory
Thanks for the link. They have a good price on 84 13 round magazines. Beretta is always sold out.
Great info, just got one. Mine just came but with black grips.
Thanks for watching! A nice set of walnut grip can be had for not too much $$. I would recommend them, they are beautiful!
Timeless design like the Mercedes R107 or W123.
Any chance you ever do a full disassembly video on this pistol?

Thanks so much for adding this information!
You do know that 9x18 is the Russian round fired by the makarov pistol- right?
I believe that you mean the 9x19 luger/parabellum/nato round.
Would you carry the 84bb as a ccw? Thanks for posting vid
