Yep, I just had really my first flare up of gout over Christmas and I suspect a bit too much alcohol and not enough water was to blame.
I did try drinking cherry juice, and it didn't really help. The one thing that did was taking extra strength ibuprofen (so 800mg) a couple times a day and the pain and swelling really went down. The key thing is that ibuprofen is an anti inflammatory and that's exactly what you need, aspirin for instance would actually not help and even make it worse.

I have been regularly taking tart cherry supplement for a year while keeping everything else the same as always. Guess what? Well, no change in high level of uric acid levels! Thanks! My personal recommendation is that you wait for AE882, which is about to be approved by FDA, and it reduce your sUA level as low as 3.8 after 12-month treatment! Good news is coming soon gout sufferers! Cheers! 🍺😊

I love this video because it shows that passion overrules the medicine book. When doctors try to prescribe you medicine instead of home remedies for certain things, you should question whether they do their job because they love it, or because society told them it would be a good way to create a stable life for themselves.
Be mindful of who your doctor is everyone please
Sending source energy and love to all that read this post ❤

Cherry juice helped my attack , stopping alcohol whilst attack is in progress helps , I find drinking lots of water helps and take Codrydamol and ibuprofen for pain . I had it last year in elbow so painful I couldn’t lift a coffee mug ouch !

Hi Dr. Girnita, thank you for this information. Can ingesting turmeric be helpful and how much? Of course, when an attack transpires, it may be necessary to take allopathic medicines. I have it and on my left foot toe and in between my first and second toe of my right foot. I also have Crohn's Disease. I wonder if there is any correlation.

Can good orange juice that is only orange juice so it doesn't have added sugar, cold pressed, etc. Organic cause gout?! What about tart cherry juice they say is supposed to help?! I've been drinking those. I'm at a loss😢... I wish I knew what was causing it.

It's understandable to feel confused about what might be causing your gout. While orange juice can be high in purines, tart cherry juice has been shown to potentially help. It might be worth consulting with a healthcare professional to find the best approach for your situation.

There is no such thing unfortunately as good fruit juice, eat fruits in whole, your blood sugars and pancreas will thank you for it. Try again whole cherries, and other berries such as blueberries, strawberries, all very good.

Very useful video, if l could ask a question could ANA nucleolus go from 1:100 to 1:0 in reumatological diseases or is it more specific for infections thank you.

the value of the ANA should always be judged in the clinical context so I cant answer this question without knowing all the medical history, please make an appointment
