Thank you for doing these :)
And like I've already wrote you on Patreon: It's nice to see you being honest about disliking parts/songs, because it puts a lot more value on it when you like stuff, as I can be certain that it is a real reaction and not those exaggerating reactors who say "OOOH MY GOOOOOD" at every note^^
Would love to see more Opeth on this channel :)
    P.S.: Hello Floridabelle

Likewise. I search for new Opeth reactions daily. I don't always comment either. 🤘🏼🙂👍🏻

dude not even kidding i was just thinking about you listening to more opeth lmao ! Glad you enjoyed it
Blackwater Park is considered as their magnum opus by a lot of their fans so excited to hear your opinions on it
Also i agree that burden is a fucking beautiful song, maybe even one of the most beautiful song they've ever made, so if you liked it you would probably enjoy their album Damnation (which was released a few months apart from deliverance, almost as a double album as they were composed at the same time, and the first entirely non-metal album that they did, which was pretty ballsy at the time tbh) and some of their post 2010 albums, where they left the prog death stuff to focus more on a prog rock typa style. Especially In Cauda Venenum (their last album to date, which was btw released both in a swedish and an english version) which is actually a bit heavier than its predecessors, has a lot of great songs on it, such as Dignity/Svekets Prins which is a great intro to the album and has a lot of tasty chord progressions, Heart In Hand/Hjärtat Ved Van Handen Gör, which is pretty heavy and has my avourite opeth chorus ever, Lovelorn Crime/Minnets Yta which is a beautiful ballad on par with Burden for me, or even All Things Will Pass/Allting Tar Slut, which is one of the most heavy, powerful, and beautiful song they've done, and an incredible ending to the album.
Looking forward to your thoughts on more opeth, as they are one of my favourite band of all time, and love your videos so keep it up man
(oh btw the first solo in Burden is in fact an organ, they've had a keyboard player since 2005 with Ghost Reveries, the album where Ghost Of Perdition is on)

@@coreyclip1 Also their Heritage album has thick atmosphere for days. Ultra proggy rock with very quirky riffs. One of my favorite albums by them.

Saw them live in Copenhagen last week and they ended the show on deliverence which left the crowd upbeat and yearning for more. Brilliant band and extremely good send off song

@@MrDe2060amSuch a good setlist in Copenhagen as well! I was expecting a lot more post-growl Opeth but they really delivered! The fade they did from Cusp of Eternity into Heir Apparent was insane🤩

Deliverance has always been odd one for me. So many cool ideas, but to me they don't feel like they really fit together in a cohesive way. It's badass live track still though, especially that outro.
Burden is just pure vibes though, so pretty but there's that dark core to it
I think overall Ghost Reveries is my favorite Opeth album, but there are like 4 or 5 other albums that are not that far behind

The backstory of deliverance is cool when you read the lyrics and take the hot/cold, harmonic/dissonance into account afterwards.
So apparently his friend or ex gf was with a bunch a of friends by a cabin in a lake. Some crazy guy with a knife held them hostage for a few hours I think, luckily no one hurt. So I always took the growl and clean vocals to be split personalities, or the angelic voice is really demonic and confusing/tricking the guy with knife.

Burden is my favorite song by them probably, which sucks cause they dont really have anything else that matches it.. besides their Damnation album which is similar but the exact same vibe.

Their post watershed material might be up your alley. Nothing exactly like burden but a few bangers.
