I was able to obtain some useful information from your video. Despite watching tens of hours of content, and reading through a thousand pages worth of articles in journals, I've still managed to glean new information. This presentation was much better than the life one was because I was able to hear you. With the life one there was static and your voice came and went. I have both Piriformis and SI Joint pain. I have had the ablation and it helped for a little while, but I feel that the pain has come back. Is that possible? Sara Gati
Hi there, I am circus performer and have been having lower back pain for just over a month on 1 side. The pain is mostly in my glute next to my tailbone. Nothing in my hips or the front/groin. I cannot lift my left leg to even 90 degrees without pain (and I’m very flexible). If I have my feet together I can’t touch my toes without pain (which is no issue normally), the pain is only felt on the left side. So if I bend the left knee I have no limitations. It’s also easier to bend fwd with my legs apart. When I flex my feet; my left foot doesn’t flex as strong as my right anymore. Arching backwards doesn’t seem to cause pain, it’s all the compression/fwd bending motions that cause pain. Or when I try to stretch the left hamstring. Which of these problems does this sound like to you? And my biggest question is - I’ve been taking painkillers (ibuprofen/tylenol) to be able to perform my shows. With them; I can get to my almost full range of motion with minimal pain. Without them I wouldn’t be able to do it. Is this dangerous? Do I need to 100% stop performing? Or is it okay to use pain killers to get to my range of motion while I maintain doing rehab exercises on the side? Or am I going to make the condition worse? Thank you
