They haven’t signed Luke Kennard yet because the front office is trying to see if they can cheap out and just use Cam Spencer 😂

In all fairness to Luke, get what you can. The reality is his stock has dropped. The Grizzlies are inviting Luke to get 14.8 from another team if he can. Westbrook recently had the largest pay cut in league history. Tobias Harris will lose 15 million per year starting this year. Luke being cut from 15 million to 10 want break him.

@@nonoGomz Actually I am not a Colts Fan. I am a Bengal Fan. Rest of my family is Colts fans. As for Titans they have work to do to become a contender again. I liked their off season roster moves... Edey is a great fit for the Grizzlies. Edey has a very Professional no nonsense mature demeanor to his personality. He will work hard to improve his short comings to become a better NBA Player. Edey could barely play 10 minutes a game his freshman season. He ended up playing 40 minutes in NCAA Tournament games his Senior season. I could see Edey becoming a decent outside shooter over the coming years. I am already seeing Purdue Fans out buying Memphis Grizzlies gear.
The better comparison is Cam Spencer and Luke Kennard. Is Cam a good enough shooter to replace Kennard and give us some salary cap breathing room?

There is no comparison. Cam is a complete player. Luke is one dimensional, and in a playoff game, he would disappear.

There are no useful serviceable free agent bigs left. A trade will be required to get one.
At this point a serviceable backup would be a luxury. Edey, JJJ, Clarke, and Santi is a pretty good front court. Jemison is the development guy. I'm not sure we even have another roster spot, especially if Luke gets resigned

@@GenoGwap I agree. I think Kleiman is trying to find a backup big then use whatever money left to sign Kennard. If I'm him, I'm using a first, Ziaire, and a few seconds to get Kessler, then sign Kennard. Trade deadline, upgrade the roster with another piece using Konchar & Santi as trade pieces. That playoff roster would be STACKED then
You can add Rose and Aldama to the list. Rose is broken, but the other three have had Years to prove themselves.

Cam Spencer is already better than John Konchar. Konchars' confidence seems to come and go a lot. Cam seems like his confidence never disappears even when he is struggling.

Who is "we"? The city of Memphis and true Grizzlies fans moved on long ago and we support him fully. He made some mistakes but who hasn't. He seems to be at peace and is happy.
