The estimated full recovery time for a surgery like GG's is 3 months! Typical Grizzlies Medical staff! Over react to every injury he is 19 with that rejuvenation at an all time high! I know we won't see him till 2025 although he'll be ready to play by Dec. I know this is the modern NBA but it's soft af when it comes to injury treatment at least the Grizzlies medical treatment of injuries has been since the start of the Klieman era!

This is one reason why national media expectations are so low. The team has to prove that they are healthy and that they can stay healthy. And will they be rusty and lacking chemistry? I mean 3 of the projected starters played a COMBINED 29 NBA games last season (Morant, Smart, Edey). So much uncertainty.

One of our potential weaknesses in the playoffs is matching up size wise depending on who we play in the playoffs. We need GG ready for that so as long as he heals on time and can still develop for playoff time we should be ok.

GG Jackson is super young too so I see him back in Nov. and maybe early December at the worst. Good news despite it all. Heal up GG!

I say that they play Scottie Pippen like he's on the main roster, and if he plays well enough to use up 50 games by February etc that they will promote him to and sign him as such. Let him earn it and then pay up... if he doesn't, then he won't be needed in the playoffs

That leaves 1 playoff spot for the Grizz realistically...fighting it out with GS,SAC,Lakers and NO,Clipps andHoust! NOT EASY!!!! You people obviously went too far in forgetting last season - so far that you forget that the last time they made the playoffs was TWO seasons ago, when they lost an ugly first round series. Now their team is quite different outside of the top 3 guys, and we still haven’t really seen the full team play together for an extended amount of time. The reason that the national media is low on the Grizzlies is UNCERTAINTY. Not because of some grudge.

The Lakers haven't finished outside of the play-in since they won that Mickey Mouse title. They are perfectly slotted.

Another episode where Joe Mullisuck says the word suspension. The CBA says players can't have a real gun that shoots bullets while on NBA property. Ja was seen with a gun likeness while sitting inside of a vehicle that wasn't on NBA property. I say gun likeness because there is no proof that was a real gun that shoots bullets and even if it was a real gun, Ja WAS NOT on NBA property therefore broke no rule that's in the CBA that says a player should be disciplined. Again, each time I see Joe Mullisuck or hear his voice it makes me want to vomit.
