I think GG is ok. Not as bad as Joe says, but not as great as his d riders think. My main problem with GG is that he shoots too many 3s. He has a decent handle and should drive and shoot more midrange shots
Hey guys. Enjoy the show can you coment on the grizzlies... 3 years they've led the league in players miss due to injuries... Grizz still have the same training staff and doctors???😢
Now speaking of GG, I've seen at least 3 times where her created offense for other guys and didn't get credited with an assist. But at this point, I'm not looking for passing looking a his development.
Why do yall care about GG’s assist numbers? When he plays he will probably be the 3 or at most the 4. His rebounds and defense matter way more. Most of the time he will not be asked to set up the offense at that position so who cares?
I'm going to call it tonight. I think GG if he plays will have a come down to earth moment tonight. I see him going 4/14fgs 2/8 3pts 4pts fts and 5rbs. I think this game a you will see alittle fatigue and a lot of cockiness. I'm not looking for a strong performance but I hope they prove me wrong
Yhey keeps showing the depth charts for other teams, but they never show it for us. I’d like to know realistically where Pippin fits in and we need to sign him on a full contract if possible. He’s a star!
I think the coaching staff should get the MVP anyway because you can clearly see the evolution of the players. They look confident and aware of what the game plan is. And that's a indication of of well coached team.
Coach March should be getting offers from other teams for a promotion because the development of the guys sent down to G-League from the Grizzlies + the performance of the SL team has been impressive.
Can yall talk about is Marcus smart a long term piece? Mikal bridges saying Memphis was heavily still interested right before he went to NY is intriguing kinda shows they’re not sold on him being that piece for the starting lineup
Smart is a guard… Mikal is a wing. I don’t understand what’s so confusing. Don’t over complicate things. Getting mikal bridges has absolutely nothing to do with how they feel about smart.
@@shiiitprolly2590 smart is gonna be in the starting rotation dude and they clearly said they feel good about him guarding multiple positions when they got him so they don’t see him as a guard and that’ll make us too small compared to other teams
Just wrong. He could have played every game. Grizzlies seen all they need to see. Do some research and look at Edeys injury history (hint, it's really really short)
I don’t care about the point totals, GG Jackson looks bad. He is bricking wide open shots. The only way he scores all those points is because he takes a ton of shots and doesn’t pass.
@@rh9626 He went 10-20 from the field. That's 50% shooting which is excellent you 🤡. And he shot 33% from 3. That's right under league average which is 34%. Stfu talking basketball. You don't know wtf you're talking about. Probably never sht a free throw before.
We don't need 3 playmakers on the floor. Why tf does GGG need to ne a playmaker when he's not going to be the one with the ball? Ja and Bane are going to be the primary ball handlers. What I love is that he can score WITHOUT the ball in different ways. And he passes the ball. Instead of just jacking up shots as soon as he touches it. That's what you want to see. Dillon Brooks used to just jack up shots. GG is smart enough to pick his spots.
Lol have you ever played basketball before? We need as many playmaker as we can assemble. The ball stops with GG BUT he wouldn't do that with Des Ja and Jaren on the floor. He'll barely get shots
I agree. I'm more concerned about him constantly hitting the 3, defense, and rebounding. Those are gonna keep him in the league, not his assist numbers which I do think will improve over time.
@@ek1743 I have that's why I know what you are talking is complete bullshit. Dillon Brooks wasn't a playmaker and none of you mfs was crying then. Yall just repeat what the next man says. Your point guard is the one that supposed to be the playmaker. GG plays the 3. You don't need your 3 to create plays for others unless he's the primary ball handler.
@@lilcw76 His better than Dillon Brooks is RIGHT NOW at 19. He's a 6'10 3 in a league were most of the small forwards like Durant, Bron, Paul George are aging. There aren't any great up an coming small forwards in the league right now. We could have potential a top 5 small forward in the future. You start him.
Scottie Pippen Jr is our new Tyus Jones. Only with better offense. He's going to be a key piece for a championship run, no doubt.
His defense is what has impressed me.
@ceejordan9649 I agree. He has shown he can and will score from anywhere on the court. Unfortunately two-way players can't play in the playoffs.
@@Eagle8 I would trade Konchar for 2 grape laffy taffy's and a #2 pencil in order to put him on a standard contract.
Good comparison. Not as good of an outside shooter (yet) but better defensively

Grizzlies summer league MVPs
1. Scottie pippen jr.
2. GG Jackson
3. Jake LaRavia

Grizz wound up letting all the players loose for this one. They have almost always shown that mentality unless someone is injured!

I think the offense looks different too. They are taking shots from different spots on the floor
I disagree with Damichae about the Grizz without SPJ. I think Cam Spencer would have this team serviceable as well

Memphis perimeter defense been horrible the last three years🤷🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️
