Thnx for content I still think this doesn't help for long time u need to change the bulb in the door itself to led or upgrade the whole trim to aftermarket lighting package this is a better idea
Extra tip: change the bulbs on foot light for led bulb this will make a huge difference in lighting I did it for both of my cars f36 and f30(the f30 is non lci does have an orange light +blue light!!!) and the f36 come with orange and white sadly and I am in love with this

The door trim lightning on my 2013 f30 is bearly visible, even at night I can only see a slight orange colour reflecting off the door handle😭
I am plannin on replacing the door trim with new trim from Ali express, that use blight LEDs instead of the laser light in my f30

I've seen other people on RUclips do this but it just looks like a led strip light after they install it. But yours looks so bright even without the plastic insert. Why is that? I have a 2015 BMW 320d LCI and my stock ambient lighting is hardly noticeable in the doors.

Newer car, less used, not left in the sun as much..i had an f10 2015 which had basically no light left cause so old, but newer low milage ones were so much brighter

He has another video where he did it on his f32, I remember watching the video but I forgot and still went out and bought the flimsy plastic that didn’t end up fitting in my car I’m pretty sure it’s a msport issue, other reviews said that it fit for other specs. The hard plastic seems to work better on both f30 and f32
