Hey never saw this comment sorry, I didn't save them separately sadly :( I wanted it to be how can you say..realistic? So I recorded them one by one in the same performance in my recording software at the time and then just did a bit of panning. Kept it sounding pretty clear but also meant that I was giving as close to a real performance as possible.
Dee Morty Hey thanks for the comment :) I'm using a musicman jpx7, super versatile guitar. String wise for stuff like this I like Ernie Ball regular slinkies (as it's in B standard), and for the pick I use the John Petrucci jazz 3 model, it's small and nimble but just thick enough to give the control and attack I want
Yea, but as a fellow guitarist 100% get why he plays it like that. The sweeps on the recorded version are insanely hard to pull off, so doing it on only 3 strings is more comfortable. It definitely was a great cover
Hey buddy I used a tab that I found online and then just tweaked a couple of bits that I thought might've been off, I can email the guitar pro to you if you'd like :) thanks for checking out my video
man, solid work. those are some crazy fast solos, long time guitar player here who has no idea how the fck to play as fast like that, any tips how u started learning fast stuff?
I just break it down into sections and start each part slow. Once I have it nailed I move onto the next part and practice them both together, and I keep going till I have the whole solo learnt lol
This is disgusting it's so good. Nice job man. Good job on including all the small harmonies everywhere. Keep it up
Have you saved your guitar parts separately?

Solid effort man, quality performance!
Excellent! Can you make full instrumental cover (without vocals)?
Really good, more Trivium covers!
Nice work Scott. I have quick question regarding feel. What guitar, string gauge, and pick you like for these songs?
