      I see value in both, I use my mac for video editing. But for 99% of what I do, the Pro is just the best! Did you get an LTE pro?

    Only thing it is missing in my openio is the lack of fingerprint reader on device itself but it has one on some keyboards though

      With Windows Hello, this is not an issue.

      I agree, they used to sell the type cover with fingerprint on he earlier pros but I don’t think it was that handy given facial recognition. What would you use fingerprint for?

    Yo Aldo! My parents recently bought me the Microsoft surface pro 8. I'm in year 7 and I've done some research and found out that this computer lasts for 16 hours. However, after short term use, the battery only lasts for about 4 or 5 hours. It's quite hard to save my battery during school and I've been wondering if you have any tips to save or increase the battery life! Thanks :)

      @@nononsense129 I use a work issue Surface Pro 6 for Power BI work and really demanding spreadsheets and it deals with it fairly easily. It’s a 16GB machine and a Core i7. So would like to think that a Pro 8 could handle it. Funny enough when it does seem overworked running all the apps with MS Teams also on, PowerPoint seems to be the one app that crashes.
      As it’s a work machine it could be my workplaces firewalls, security and firmware updates slowing it down. I’m a big Apple fan but the reliability of my workplaces SP6 has made me consider getting one for my own personal use….

    I used surface pro3 8 years ago to this year! It's also very good. But I'm disappointed to buy surface pro8 this year! It's been a month! Battery life is only four hours! Even 3 hours was hard today, don't know if this problem is just me! Do you have any comments you can give me! At the same time I also go to the point of sale to check if there is any problem with the machine. I'm just having trouble trying to give someone a usage data! There is no denying a good product!

    What is a LTE device?

    • @kevlally
      @kevlally Год назад +1

      LTE is when a device as the capability to take a sim card (LTE network) so that when you are away from wifi you can still have access to data via your sim card and its network. I hope this helped.
