Good stuff. I'm studying now for my Part 107. I want to understand VFR maps better. This is a great video. Pilot Institute and Altitude University should put this in there training moduels.

Thanks Lindsey! 107 eh? That's neat! You may be the first person I've come across that's going that route. Glad this helped. Part 2 is coming in a week or two. Stay with me on 121.Mike.

It’s a chart, not a map. It’s printed right on the document in the title. Yes there’s a difference. Yes it matters.

Thanks! Welcome aboard. Insert the metal fitting into the buckle, and pull on the strap to tighten. Lift up on the buckle to release.

Great channel. One question tho, we have to go cross country to get the PPA license? In a c172 that would take "years"... lol

Hey John! That's funny. For everyone else who might see John's comment and be worried about flying across the country... fret not. Cross country is technically just any flight that lands at an airport other than where you took off. However for training and experience requirements, it just means a landing at an airport at least 50nm straight-line from where you took off. Easily doable, even in a 172! Thanks for watching!

Great channel..very clear explaination. Keep the videos coming. For newbies please explain what is MOA and AWOS. Terms like this should not be left without explaination.

Great suggestion! I should have made sure not to use any acronyms, but a few slipped through. They are Military Operations Area and Automated Weather Observation System.
