Soon to be CFI here and this is a great video to touch up on some things. The thing that confused me the most until I realized the differences are bridges and dams. They look very similar and it took me about 3 years to realize that one was a bridge and one was a dam. Another little sectional question I like to talk about is the one in this picture: imgur.com/a/16Ki5xB. Question being, what does that solid magenta line mean around the airport? Most people get so caught up in trying to figure it out and find it on a legend that they don’t notice it tells you directly next to it.

Wow, that's interesting. I don't live in Phoenix, but I can see them on the Phoenix TAC. Clearly they're VFR checkpoints representing major road intersections, but yeah, why do they call them stacks? Have you asked a local CFI?

I don't know how long it's been there, but it's not new. It only pops up in places where a class C airport sits directly below a class B shelf. I don't know how many places there are like that.

I'm not being ungrateful of the free videos, but it should at least live up to the title don't you think...? Before I continue, please know that I am thankful for your content Jason and team. However, I must say, this video (and others on the subject) just barely brushed on some very important issues, such as distinguishing between AGL or MSL for airspace floor/ceiling values, which is very important when talking about airspace! Are these values not inclusive of the airport elevation, and therefore the elevation should be added in order to truly comply?? On a side note also, why not just one nice video that covers everything? I think I know..., because most tubers would rather have 2 dozen 10 minute long videos to satisfy the youtube money-making scheme. I get it though. Please just focus on making valuable content for the good subscribers of this channel! I still like the video...

This was very dis-jointed. You didn’t teach how to read a sectional chart as the title says. You pointed out a few airspace depictions and a tower/VFR checkpoint. Perhaps your other videos may make a good lead in to this one, but as a stand alone it’s not very adequate.
