Thank you MzeroA for “very real” and quite possible scenarios. I wish the Safer Pilot Challenge was 365 days long (and 366 this year). It’s hard to top coffee and an MzeroA video in the morning. All the best!

I was on a student pilot solo and it was a very busy day here at KUGN. jets flying in and out, GA airplanes in the pattern with me, and I'm flying a C-152. I think I remember tower extending my downwind across Lake Michigan for what seemed like forever. And I think they threw in a couple 360's for spacing as well. 😅

Congrats on the student solo! Did many, many laps at UGN.

With all my ratings in my back pocket, I still enjoy watching this guy. Amazing.

I've been out of the loop (no pun intended), however I came across an old email with Jason.
I used to watch him a lot. Glad to see he's still here, however does he never age or what? Lol, still looking good/sounding good!

Simple principle but one that I find myself struggling with sometimes! I find that when I look back on a bad landing it's almost always due to poor pattern work. Thanks for another great review!

Another thing my CFI showed me on extended downwinds is to bring in the second (or even third) notch of flops and slow to ~70 knots to not get too far away from the airport.

Jason's videos have been a great "refresher" for me. I recently was issued my 3rd Class SI and will be back in the air after about 40 years. It's interesting though, I've been up with a friend in his 172, a couple of time while waiting for my SI, and I was surprised, how much I still remembered. But that might be due to my completing my commercial training way back when. Anyway, have my first flight with a CFI on Friday to start my extended Bi-annual flight review.

That free throw comparison was spot on in relation to having “ritual” or “rhythm” for landing. Fly safe ✈️

I really hope that you're going to read my comment. I do not know how to contact you personally. so I'm just going to post it on your video. so let's make a long story short I just passed my FAA knowledge test all thanks to your great videos.so let me explain why it was very important. so I am 48 years old and I'm flying since I was 14 years old but I have dyslexia disability So reading all the books have no sense to me I tried and I took the test and failed before.then I find out your great video with a great illustration that just embedded in my memory everything I need to know. I was sitting days and night watching every video and learning everything you are teaching over there .AS a student pilot I have probably about 390 hours .I had before a Piper Cherokee for 6 years and now I have a piper colt. the only difference is that now I can finish my license. and get bigger stuff (airplanes) not as a student pilot. all thanks to you.so I just wanted to say thank you. and I would like to talk to you about explaining to people with dyslexia, how to get the proper test with FAA disability accommodation for dyslexia so we can have more people with the freedom to fly.

Do you have a video on the flare and transition into the flare? I am now training again after not flying for a few years and I find myself trying to land the 172 like I did in the warrior and the low wing vs high wing difference sometimes get me and I'm not doing my best landings. My instructor gives great tips but since I don't fly as much as I want to it would be a good addition to watch your video as a help!

Are you able yo record without the ATC audio? I know it's kinda helpful. But I find it very distracting trying to listen to you 🤷

I noticed too. Maybe it's possible to record it separately from your voice, keep it more in the background and only turn it up when it gets interesting?
