- The Revela 2 Floorstander proved to be my favorite speaker of the last I dunno 365 days. SO I was curious on how the Revela 1 compared.
The Revela 1 is a classic bookshelf/stand-mount monitor fitted with a 6.5″ woofer and the very same 1x2.5" Ribbon driver. It has a beautiful design. and a solid and sturdy cabinet.
For this speaker, Quad also sent through their optional custom-engineered stand. It retails for $2250 USD without the stand and $2995 USD with the stands.

@@0102studio They can get etchy and bright with some sources but that's the trade off with such a high resolving speaker and those tweeters. Some tracks from some artists are jaw dropping good. I have them paired with two subs also, and have them doing 80hz and up.

The Quad Revela 1 costs $2053.54 US where I am not including the stands. A bit too much for something so shiny for me. 'Wish there was a matt finish.
