I received my Row on January 18. As of this morning I have about 40 workouts invested and about 48000 meters. I have been consistently training on form and have seen my form improve from low 80% to high 90%. I used to think I understood form but I have been breaking bad habits the last week and half. I am very happy with my Row. The coaches are amazing, especially Alex and Ash. This is the real deal and worth every penny, especially if you have a Peloton Bike and only want to pay one subscription. Good review Travis, keep it up.

Thanks for this video. Ended up ordering a Peloton Row just today after watching this. I think the fact I'm already in the ecosystem with the Bike+ kind of seals my fate. I'm already paying for the subscription that will just work with this is a big selling point - no 'extra' subscription required as it would be if I went anywhere else. I think the only what-if I'll ever have with the other ones are the feel of things like Ergatta with it's water design.

    • @Learnwithtravis

My pleasure and sounds like a good choice! I do like the feel of the Ergatta but it is minor difference versus the Peloton Row and not having an extra subscription so no what-if necessary! :)

My form would have been so bad without form assistance. I have learned so much. I see other people on rowers and their form is awful. We don’t have to be perfect, but you can hurt your lower back rowing incorrectly. You were leaning too far back while rowing in your video. I love your videos and will continue to watch.
I might have gotten a hydro, but I had a peloton bike. I didn’t want two monthly fees. Now I’m glad I went with the row.

I’ve been waiting all week for this review! I’ve been torn between the Hydrow and the Peloton plus wondered how quickly Peloton might reduce the price to be more competitive. I love my Peloton bike and feel it’s the content, music and instructors that motivate me. I love Hydrow water classes but am afraid I’d be disappointed in the lack of music. Leaning towards the Row to save on the subscription.

Separating out the specific parts and tools for each of the seven step assembly process steps was brilliant on the part of the manufacturer. For the price, I am impressed at how sturdy this ruclips.net/user/postUgkxvObaTzoHoHQLL4lHbJQmExHqsrZQm-f7 unit is and it does go together easily. Well, I was puzzled at first at Step 5 and maybe the instructions should mention that rail #62 needs to be tilted upwards a little to get the rail to fit into the main part #44. I like it that the rower can be stored vertically in a really small amount of space, but be forewarned that this rower is top heavy and for safety you'll need at least two bungee cords to keep the unit upright, attaching them to something; in my case to a third garage door. I have had this unit only a short time, and I will post an update once I've had it for a year. As for working your legs, I have to admit that I'm mainly rowing for upper body strength and I use other forms of exercise for leg strength (like walking fast, biking, or using a trampoline. But if you pull as far forward as possible, then you can give preference to your legs for the first 4 feet or so of travel. I also admit to not taking the two electronic connectors apart at Step 7. I simply inserted the two batteries while the other parts remained connected. By the way, there is plenty of resistance here, even in the lowest resistance settings. Kudos to Sunny Health & Fitness !

The Row has ranges from warm up and cool downs at 5 minutes to regular and endurance rows 10,15,20,30,45 and 60 minutes. The HIITs I have not tried but the 15 minute rows that were part of the Live Launch last week were kinda like intervals.
