Happy solstice! Love your beautiful tradition of bringing in the new year around the sun. There are no coincidences ~ your stitch sock was perfect! Thank you for being the light in our fiber world! 🌞
Your most beautiful episode to date! Thank you for letting us be part of this sacred moment where you reconnect with your heart. I live in Canada in the countryside and the first three weeks of this month we have had snow storms and rain storms, resulting in several lengthy power outages and dangerous driving conditions. It has been dreary but yesterday, we had our first rays of sunshine in a month. Today, the sun is flooding the living room, and it gets really warm in here. My husband and I will celebrate this beautiful day and the return of longer daytime hours by taking a long walk outside with the dog. I will also set my antique wheel near the window for a few minutes of sun-basked spinning. Later, I will record sunrise and sunset hours on my calendar, and start calculating how much daytime we are gaining until the Summer solstice (I don't record this when days get shorter.) Tazhi, I hope that life brings you joy, serenity, fulfilment and love this Christmas and every day after. Merry Christmas!
Not me sobbing because you touched something in this starlit scorpios heart. I open my hands & heart to your wish and return the same to you. 🙏 Thank you for sharing ❤
Happy winter solstice! Thanks for sharing your ritual with us 💜 I brought in some ivy from the garden then had a long bath, during which I made a list of things to let go of, and then a list of things I want to continue/start going forward. Love embracing the hiberation vibes of this time of year but also look forward to the days getting longer again.
This video felt like it’s own ritual. My best friends came up for solstice and we made log and winter themed food together, exchanged gifts and read solstice books to the kids ❤
You brought tears to my eyes and to my heart with your beautiful blessing, and I'm not mad about that! Your words flow so beautifully straight from your heart. If you've not yet added these words and blessings to your copybook, I hope you will listen and transcribe your heart's words onto your pages. Thank you for sharing your season of starlight with me. harpingJanet
Happy solstice Tazhi! I was born on the spring equinox, and so especially resonate with these quarterly season changes as a time for reflection and celebration. Thank you for inviting us into your ceremony this year
Tazhi, this is absolutely stunning. Your words are beautiful. I'm a self-prescribed lazy witch, so I didn't do anything to celebrate the solstice, but this absolutely made me take a moment to appreciate it. Thank you for sharing it with us.
This was so beautiful. I would love to see more videos like this. You are an incredible writer. The witch-ish vibes were immaculate. Happy winter solstice, friend.
such a lovely moment from your solstice to share -- and this might make you laugh: my birthday is (usually) the winter solstice, and when i was a little kid and people would say, "oh, you were born on the shortest day of the year!", i thought it meant that i literally had less birthday than anyone else (except for those poor leap-year kids on feb 29) -- at age 7 or etc., one doesn't quite understand the celestial movements yet, and you're going to bed at 8pm every night anyway, so "longest night" has little meaning. and it's annoyingly close to christmas. thankfully as an adult i came to love my somewhat weird birthday, and always joke, "if you want more sunlight, you've got to go through me first!"
Good Yule, Tazhi! You are as beautiful as the stars in the sky and the earth beneath our feet. Your poetry is lovely. I am a double Scorpio with a Gemini moon and Libra stellium. (We share many interests!) IMHO Scorpio is a special gift that helps us see life in its fullness, top to bottom, but I’m biased.
Hi Tazhi, I just wanted to steer you towards taking a peek at Andrea Mowry's latest episode 146. Just check out her cowl she is wearing. I know how spinning positively impacts you so very greatly. Andrea Renee is wearing an EXQUISITE cowl/wrap that knocked my socks off! The thing is, it is knitted from the yarn she spun!!!! It is the most gorgeous combination of a very light aqua or sky blue along with a warm sandy beige. It kind of looks like a brioche but I need to go into her comments and look the pattern up to verify that. I haven't tried brioche and not ready for that right now....got too many other things on the needles to consider taking that on yet, maybe later in the new year! But her hand crafted cowl is OFF THE HOOK! It is definitely her colorway. To think she created it from the yarn she spun. You are right on that page, I am so impressed by that ability! Your yarn that you are creating/spinning is very beautiful so I can't wait to see it knit up by you in something substantial. Your color choices are always harmonious and complimentary to your personal coloring. Even though I don't spin and don't have plans to, I LOVE observing others indulge in that aspect of creativity. You sparked that for me!!! I am older so my big main goal is to put a dent in my yarn stash before I'm pushing up daisies and I can't allow myself to take on anymore crafts. But I can sure enjoy folks like you and Andrea to entertain me whilst I knit away on my projects so thank you for that!!!!! Also thank you for your sincere well wishes for your subscribers and sharing your positive thoughts! You are the best and I look forward to watching what you accomplish in the new year. What an inspiration your talent is! Knitting Hugs❤💛, Carrie from Northern San Francisco Bay Area. 🥰🐶🐑🌹☕🧵🪡🧶

I am also biased and I think of Scorpio the exact same way so you’re in good company here.
