I've been using a shitty laptop for editing and it was a horrible experience. I had literally no idea on how to built a pc, but your video saved my ass haha THANK YOU for explaining every little thing that you did! I built almost the same pc as the one in your video and it's amazing! Keep up the great work ♥
only one error, you have to plug the 4 prong plug on the main motherboard power in before the larger part as it has a little bevel that secures it which needs to be lipped under the large one, otherwise, this was 100% perfect and really helped me a ton building my system.
I just graduated college- I have been video editing on older macbook pros since my senior year of high school and now that I have a full time job I was going to buy myself a new iMac for editing. After watching this video, I am SOLD on building my own almost identical to this. I can't thank you enough for this video and advice, I will let you know when I get my build done!! Thanks again!!
For anyone in the UK, I worked out the prices to be roughly (for box only): Cheap Version (cheaper GPU & CPU): £135.00 £135.00 £81.50 £2 £197.50 £172.00 £60.00 £80.00 Total: £726.00 Expensive Version (more expensive GPU & CPU): £163.00 £81.50 £197.50 £308.00 £60.00 £80.00 Total: £890.00
Came here from your 2019 config video. I didn't plan on watching the whole thing straight through but since I'm going to be building my own system it was fun to watch. Well done. I haven't built a system since the 1990s. Enjoyed seeing the new kit and it's always good to see those little things that come up. Very helpful thanks.
I built my computer in February of this year and honestly it's the best thing ever! I've been using it constantly for the past 2 months and it just runs so smooth and fast, so thanks so much for your help Matt.
As others have noted, the relaxed, non-hurried pace you did the build, gives the watcher time to “process” the steps. I feel lots more comfortable about mucking around with the materials, and I have done a number of builds since 1983... but, because of the long time since last doing one (like nearly 5 years since the last one!), it is great to have something to refresh one’s memory. Very useful. Thanks! 🤓
This was incredibly helpful. I've never even thought of attempting building my own editing computer. But after watching this I believe I can do it. Would love to see an updated video on the export rendering setting for 4k and 1080p now that Adobe has changed alot of the options in the menus.
Hi Matt, I was intimidated with the length at first, but when I started watching, I could not quit! Kudos to your candid attitude and helpful tips! Keep it up my friend! Great video!
Hi Matt, This was extremely helpful for those of us who learn by seeing rather than reading. Also your little insecurities let me know that mine are normal as well. I wish the close ups were better produced for the video. I couldn't see half of what was going on. It would probably be worth it to stop the assembly process, set up the close up shot, shoot it, then return to assembly once accomplished. That being said, this is still a huge help in showing how it all is done. Thanks!

Came here before watching the 2019 update video. Great upload, exactly what I was looking for. Thank you so much for taking the time to make this. Subbed off the strength of this one tutorial.
In the middle of the build now! I'm using the upgraded parts for your $650 4k editing video which ran me close to $900. Thanks for posting this awesome content!
I'm sold, sub and getting more info for my first ever pc build with a 1k budget. Definitely the best pc build I’ve ever watch in YT... Taking away all the fears of building my own pc soon. Thanks for this Mate, massive massive help...
This makes me want to build a computer now! I watched this from start to finish, it's my birthday today and now debating on buying my birthday gift computer or now building it..🤔 and mind you this, I'm not technical at all but watching your video gave me some kind of computer super powers🧙♂️ and I feel like I can do it!👍
Thanks! My kids are helping me build a computer specifically for editing film/videos. Your presentation was a great "first step" video for me, since I need to buy all the pieces. We are well on our way... You are a GREAT personality!
Boy this is the first time ive watched any of your videos !!! And Linus has nothing to do with you !!! no offense but the way u explain is way better instead of rushing stuff you take your time and joke around !!! if you had a patreon ill be one of your followers !!! You are amazing keep up the good work !!! thank u for make me feel more confident about my build !!!! .
Using this video just now to build my video editing rig. Mostly same components. I watched some of your other videos also, well done Matt! I went for the MSI B450-A Pro Max and a Ryzen 3700x (waiting lists on lessor processors). About one-third of the way done, waiting for FedEx, lol!
I bought a drone recently but may Mac Mini and 2012 MacBook Pro are both struggling with 4K video and I need a machine on which I can natively run windows virtual machines. Budget is tight (I spent the money on the drone). I asked around, nobody was prepared to help but this video along with the 2021 Budget 4K Video Editing PC one have been a great help. The past two years have seen a lot of firsts. Looks like they'll see my first full PC Build as well. Thanks for taking the time and to Racheal for suffering throughout.
I have a 9 year old macbook pro and it just isn't man enough for editing 4k. I've watched this video twice. I'm surprised how little the setup has changed since I built my own over 10 years ago.........even down to the arm to secure the processor. Brill video. thanks.
You're amazing Matt. I'm making my way through your videos and the quality of information is so relevant and helpful. I hope your subs continue to grow dude, you deserve it. I would love to see your work flow and what systems you use when it comes to storage and organising etc. Thanks anyway man! Keep up the good work.
I just bought a 1600 and is great, great for gaming and streaming. I would also recommend watching LinusTechTips, Bitwit, GamersNexus, JayzTwoCents, Paul’s Hardware and Hardware Unboxes if you need more info. Especially LinusTechTips, as it has the largest video library and a very active forum on their website if you have any issues. Hope you have fun, our community is one of the friendliest and most helpful in the web. 👍
This is only 50% of the process. I wish you had to made a video for setting up the computer once you boot it up. Great first half... but needs a part 2.
Dude this helps me so much. Very in depth, and useful information. Entertaining as well. I just tried to install premiere on my laptop realized how out of date and powerless my computer is. Had do some research to find out video editing requires a special build. Felt like i had to open a whole new can of worms and fall through another worm hole of tech and specs. Your video cut straight to the point of basics, and budget. Thanks again !
Hey Joaquin! You're almost there! You'll need to install Windows (you can do that easily using a USB drive). Otherwise the only drivers you'll need are the graphics drivers, and possibly a few from the motherboard manufacturer's website.
I'm a photographer who always used Apple products for my work but now my MacBook Pro is getting a little old and doesn't keep up anymore so I'm deciding on building my own beast for 1/3th of the price. Your video was the first I watched and got me a little more confident to take this new journey 👍🏻
The real questions are, how long did it take to render this beast, how large was the file size, and how long did it take to upload it? My goodness.. an hour long 4k video..
+JeremyDwayne 😂 oh man. Rendering wasn't bad, about 3 hours. It's an approximately 50gb 4k mp4 file. Upload took about 3-4 hours thanks to my internet. Overkill? Probably. :)
and how about comparing render/benchmnark times of this build against your main build, might get more people interested in these CPUs if the dollar to performance ratio is high enough.
Can you make a 2018 update to this video/ Black Friday version of it? If not can you confirm that there are still the parts you would go with if you had to do it again today. Thanks😀
I feel like the only thing i would change today with this build is moving up to a Ryzen 1700x 8 cores / 16 threads /boost up to 3.8ghz for about $200 (you can probably find a sale on this though thats just the current price on amazon today) or a 2700x (about $80 more) for higher end. The rest you should be fine with. I would keep in mind that the 3rd gen Ryzen chips (zen2) should be announced in January at CES which would drop the prices on these chips so it may be a good idea to wait a month and see what happens if you want to go with Ryzen. And maybe get your hands on a 3700x which is rumored to have 12 cores / 24 thread/ with a boost up to 5.1ghz for around $300 (keep in mind thats a lot of speculation though)
A couple of weeks ago I decided I wanted to assemble my own computer for video editing and wanted to keep it under a thousand bucks, but didn't know what the heck to do. Last time I assembled a computer was in the mid 90s. I found this video to be so helpful. So, thanks. I ended up getting a Ryzen 5 2600x, an MSI x470 Gaming Plus MoBo, an Asus GTX 1050ti, 16gb RAM(2x8gb), a Thermaltake 80plus PSU, and I went with a SATA SSD for now because I couldn't decide which M.2 to get. I'll upgrade to that later. I got an FSP case... nothing special, but it has a window... haha. From my old PC I saved a 2TB HDD, the PCIE Wifi card, and the monitor, keyboard, and mouse. I bought a second monitor, a BENQ 22 inch for a hundred bucks. Total spent was about 950 bucks including the new monitor. So, right on par with what you said it would take. Two thumbs up man! Thanks again, Mick
Hey Matt. Great video! Do you by chance have a parts list for the "awesome video editing beast of a computer" you built last year? I would love to build a higher-end machine but am overwhelmed by the options.
Awesome man! I've never built a computer before but I learned a lot from your video! Watched it all the way through and I appreciate all your hard work brother. Thank you!
Hey Matt, I'm a motion designer by trade, coming back to windows after 4 years of Mac. Your video really helped me out. I took a list of these components to a computer fair today and picked up what I could. Case, RAM, Ryzen 5, SSD all for a great price. Ordered the rest online. Thanks for the advice and build run through. I'll be coming back to check on the build specifics when the kit arrives.
Thats total entertainment experience with lots of boring stuff done in a fun way and thanks for taking soo much time and doing the video,u made be pc building a little less alien. Thanks man.
Matt, this was awesome and I built my first editing computer. The only thing that I would recommend that you add (for those of us who are new to computer building) is how you loaded the operating system and peripherals. Thanks so much! Can't wait to get started with DaVinci.
@@whoismatt this was a nice build I went the second hand route myself. I got lucky new is the way to go. case $33_water cooler(cpu) $50_ga-ax370 & Ryzen 1700x (new as promo)$150_ asus gtx 1080 strix $300_super luce 3000mhz rgb ram 32gb (runs @2999 with bios tweak) $200_corsair cx550 $40_adata nvme 250gb ssd m.2 $40_windows 10 pro(kinguin) $30. 30 bucks enclosing 800bucks of pure black magic.
This was fantastic! I'm probably paying a local computer repair guy to build my vid editing computer, but now I can speak with some level of knowlege when we meet tomorrow, and possibly even get a better price. Thanks *so* much for the video!
Won't lie this is probably one of the most newb friendly computer building videos I've seen. It's make computer building seem much less scary. I'm currently running off a HP Envy dv7 that is having a lot of issues speed wise so I've been looking at getting a PC for a year or so for video editing. Wasn't sure whether to just buy one to have a warranty, have someone else build it for me, or to do it myself. A lot of other videos I've watched about PC building didn't feel as accessible as this one. So great job with that.
dude HELP...I got all the stuff you said to get. except all the upgraded versions. so everything was fine up until I got to the part where you need to connect the power supply to the fan of the computer case and I have no way of plugging them together. I need some type of converter. where can I contact you
Alec King hey man I messaged him on IG and he replied. He sent me the link to a converter for us. It’s only 7 bucks. See if this is what you need This should work CRJ 4-Pin Molex to 3 x 3-Pin PC Case Fan Sleeved Adapter Cable www.amazon.com/dp/B075NPZ94N/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_31u.Db46FQHGG
I almost stopped watching the video when you brought out for 6GB video card for a budget video editing PC. Glad I carried on now and you rightly explained that 6GB isn't necessary for video editing alone, as the processor is more important for video editing. You should have explained that at the start, but you got there. Nice one.
Very helpful to see all the specific steps to get from a box of parts to a working computer. The timeline index / table of contents is really helpful, too. Thank you!
I'm building this exact computer for video editing! I have all my parts except for my ryzen CPU and power supply which will be here in 2 more days. I've watched this video 3 times already lol I'm super stoked!!
Thank you for taking the pain to film this entire process and for detailing how everything's put together. I'm building my first PC this week and this video really solved some daunting questions I had in my head. Also, awesome beard! :)
NOOOOOOOOO Just did this build with some of the upgrades recommended this year and I'm getting a message on my screen saying (it isn't getting a signal from the computer)...... So far, I unplugged and replugged SSD, graphics, power to motherboard, CPU power, RAM... This motherboard has led lights when something isn't plugged in and stays lit on "boot" when everything is connected. This is the case with everything plugged back in and all the fans are running but STILL my monitor isn't receiving a signal. Any help would be greatly appreciated 🙏 Update: actually got it fixed.... After resinserting everything, I went to the power supply and replugged everything which seemed to work!!!
Old Bull Lee I’m having the same problem. Everything is running but no signal to monitor and I feel like I tried unplugging and plugging it back in already
Dude, this one was so helpful. And i tell you why: You are able to explain things calm and in a easy way, and it's fun listening to you. The last 3 weeks i spent so much time finding out all about building a platform since i really need a better machine and videos like this HELP A LOT! If you are going on with videos like this (please do that!) then i personally would love to hear more about what is important for Premiere Pro and After Effects to get maximum performance with the budget i have. And also it would be so so great to take different budgets and talk about how to use it to get the maximum out of it. And maybe come up with different ideas of builds. :) Thanks man!
Dear Matt, I am only a novice when it comes building my own computer or editing my own videos. I just started my journey as a photographer/videographer. Thank you for sharing this video. I literally sat and watched this entire video from beginning to end while drinking the new horchata almond milk frapp at Starbucks. Which was pretty darn good! Anyways you have inspired me to build my very own video editing computer. If not for your video, I would probably continue to use an outdated apple computer which is really slow btw. I hope that you will be able to answer some questions in the future if I run into some problems while experimenting what you have demonstrated. Keep up the great work that you do, you are very much appreciated. Thank you, Sarith Yim
This was extremely helpful for me. I have been thinking of building a computer strictly for editing 4k video and editing raw photo's with the adobe cloud suite. I have never built a computer so it was a bit of a reach for me, but after watching this it seems very simple. Thanks again look forward to more content like this.
47:19 The latency does not matter, since electrons travel at almost the speed of light (It's just about a few picoseconds) What matters is how much PCIe Lanes your Slot has, often the lower ones only have 8 instead of 16 Lanes
Matt you are awesome you are very unique and inspiring. I don't know anything about computers but I have all the parts for you in front of me to build this computer I'm so excited and I can't stop trying to learn about these computers and everything u r quite eccentric I love your personality and you seem very playful and like to have a lot of fun so glad I caught this video for the past months watching you has been a big part of my life
Just viewed this video from beginning to end. Good description of each part. The only negative, which to me is the essence of creating a video for all to see is Rachel's lack of ability to focus on what target area you're working on. Also, a closeup of each component to be plugged in before you connect to the motherboard is also important. We want to see what the female plug looks like closeup to we know what to look for on the motherboard. Lastly, make room for the new and improved Rachel (learning to focus) so we can see where each wired plastic plug is going to connect up on the motherboard. Don't let lack of focus be the reason a viewer will click away from this video!
I've been using a shitty laptop for editing and it was a horrible experience. I had literally no idea on how to built a pc, but your video saved my ass haha THANK YOU for explaining every little thing that you did! I built almost the same pc as the one in your video and it's amazing! Keep up the great work ♥
Thanks Venetia, glad you got it working!

BOUGHT THE SAME PARTS FROM YOUR OTHER VIDEO AND JUST BUILT MY CPU TODAY!!! THANKS A MILLION !!!!
This is so cool - I just came across this video. So I'm ready to order all the parts and build mine as well.
Does it going well 👍
Benjamin Kibbey just looking at comment. I just followed the video and trouble shoot. Plug it in and cut it on to make sure it's working
Raayz Design yep!! Plus you can buy a stronger ryzen processor for cheap now on microcenter.com
i cant get a signal to the monitor

Just watched the whole video. Probably the best computer build video i've..no, THE best one i've ever seen! I'll certainly be using this.
+兆し AGP thank you so much!
Matt, quick question. With this current build, considering money isn't an issue, could one upgrade to a Ryzen 1700 or would more need to be changed?
Stuck nothing turned on when turned the power supply on
I built my computer in February of this year and honestly it's the best thing ever! I've been using it constantly for the past 2 months and it just runs so smooth and fast, so thanks so much for your help Matt.

This video was awesome. I would have liked to see the continuation like installing the operating system where do you get it does it come with it?

"Rachel often does not get my humor" that is the understatement of the year!!! :)
Yeah cuz I laughed SO hard when he made that screw joke
she looks like she gives 0 f#cks
Man, im with her 🤫
Finally, someone made an actual video of that ppl are going to want to watch...perfect first half, but whathappen to part 2??

Thank u So much for sharing.... ❤
Great tutorial! Next step: showing how to install Windows. And do you have recommendations for wifi and Bluetooth cards?
plz reply to the john's cmnt
This video is the reason I was not afraid to build my own PC. Thank you, Matt!

Nice video man. Good refresher for me. It's been almost 20yrs. Since I built one. Your wife was great with the camera.
Thanks man just completed my PC Build!!! FLAWLESS!!!!

I was looking for this exact type of video. I didn’t want a crazy expensive build like most others. Thanks! Just ordered the parts

Thanks so much . Will be using this video along with your more current video build for my first build!!
Great work on this video Matt! :D
Still using this exact PC build. Thanks Matt for helping me build my first PC back then!
I cant believe i just watched this completly in One rush.
Awesome!
You've given me a great start! My macbook pro isn't cutting anymore and a new one is in the thousands!
same. HAHA
Excellent review explaining "WHY" that shows your experience while comparing alternatives.
My computer did not explode at the end of the building. Thanks to you :D !

I just LOVE how Matt explains things, especially when it comes to controversy (as with PC vs. Mac here). Could listen to him for (even more) hours.
Still very relevant in 2019!! Thank you Matt, very helpful!!
Great simple to follow video... but need to add part 2... how to install OS and software.
Aha! Are you kidding me? I just need a new PC and have no idea how to build one. Thank you Matt!!! Thank you!! This helps me a lot!

I'd get a ryzen 5 1600 cpu if i were you.. It has 6 cores and is $50 more expensive, definitely worth the buck for two extra cores.
It seems a good choice. Thank you!
I would've never thought I'd see the day where I build a computer but you made it so easy, thank you so much
Can this build handle 4k raw?
I literally finished the video. It was very helpful bro.. love from Philippines
This is only 50% of the process. I wish you had to made a video for setting up the computer once you boot it up. Great first half... but needs a part 2.
ULTRA KWON yea im not a computer nerd i would probably be stuck trying to install drivers and all that crap :(
Putting together all the hardware is easy. Installing/syncing all the software is the confusing part.
Yes. Please include part 2. How to install OS and software....
same ._.
I created a part 2 post for this build here - zachgoll.github.io/blog/2019/what-to-do-after-building-pc-linux/
Okay so once i do all this im ready to surf the internet??? Or do i need to install drivers ?? I would like for you to do a 2nd video with the monitor
Hey Joaquin! You're almost there! You'll need to install Windows (you can do that easily using a USB drive). Otherwise the only drivers you'll need are the graphics drivers, and possibly a few from the motherboard manufacturer's website.
Matt WhoisMatt Johnson okay thanks
Overkill? Probably. :)
and how about comparing render/benchmnark times of this build against your main build, might get more people interested in these CPUs if the dollar to performance ratio is high enough.
yes that will be awesome Matt
oh man, our upload speed is so shit, it takes me at least two hours to get a 10 minute video up on youtube.
This would be a 20 minute render with NVENC HEVC 4k render. 3x realtime render speed on 3584 gpu cores.
I have absolutely no need for this video, but I can tell the amount of work that went into this, a like was much much much needed
+Cool Guy Dennis haha thanks Dennis! You're cool!
Can you make a 2018 update to this video/ Black Friday version of it? If not can you confirm that there are still the parts you would go with if you had to do it again today. Thanks😀
I was actually about to comment the same thing! Please make a 2019 version!!
+Scott Kricho thanks Scott! I'll look into creating a part list for a higher spec rig on my kit page. My beast of a computer is already outdated 😜
Awesome man! I've never built a computer before but I learned a lot from your video! Watched it all the way through and I appreciate all your hard work brother. Thank you!
Thanks Tyler! Best of luck building your computer!
Yes please more Budjet, high end pc build, software....yada yada. Love your videos, really interesting. Thanks
Planning on it Stevie!
Thanks Mark! So glad to help you out!
I bought the case directly off of your site and all the cables of that case are different from the ones you're showing here man
Thats total entertainment experience with lots of boring stuff done in a fun way and thanks for taking soo much time and doing the video,u made be pc building a little less alien. Thanks man.
IMHO the RyZen 5 1600 is the best bang for the buck CPU for Editing PCs, especially when you Overclock it to >3.9GHz
+Felix R I agree!
Matt, this was awesome and I built my first editing computer. The only thing that I would recommend that you add (for those of us who are new to computer building) is how you loaded the operating system and peripherals. Thanks so much! Can't wait to get started with DaVinci.
Why didn't you use ryzen 5 1600?
+NEO didn't have the budget. :)
@@whoismatt
this was a nice build I went the second hand route myself.

😂😂😂
Thank you...
Thanks Lauryn! Glad to help!
How to grow a beard
+Jose Victor Cocjin 😂😂😂
don't forget to water it every morning and make sure it gets plenty of sun light.
Step 1 - don't be asian
@@edandko lol
Rub salt into your face, your hair will get thirsty and come out for a drink.
here in 2021, thank you so much, very in-depth and now i actually feel comfortable building my first computer!
dude HELP...I got all the stuff you said to get. except all the upgraded versions. so everything was fine up until I got to the part where you need to connect the power supply to the fan of the computer case and I have no way of plugging them together. I need some type of converter. where can I contact you
I have the same issue
Alec King hey man I messaged him on IG and he replied. He sent me the link to a converter for us. It’s only 7 bucks. See if this is what you need This should work CRJ 4-Pin Molex to 3 x 3-Pin PC Case Fan Sleeved Adapter Cable www.amazon.com/dp/B075NPZ94N/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_31u.Db46FQHGG
@@sieteplagas2844 thank you! Ima order it cause i got the 510 compact case and i can just order one and connect it the same way in the video:)
Alec King I gotchu man!
I almost stopped watching the video when you brought out for 6GB video card for a budget video editing PC. Glad I carried on now and you rightly explained that 6GB isn't necessary for video editing alone, as the processor is more important for video editing. You should have explained that at the start, but you got there. Nice one.
Dude there is no hard drive ( 1 T ) ☹
Tanks Matt, I enjoyed the video, but can you do a video showing the process after the build, like installing the drivers, operating system etc?
RAM speed for Ryzen does makes a huge difference.
I think he means in reference to video editing because that's the main purpose of this machine.
Sublime IO
Ram speeld and cl doesn't make huge difference anymore. It makes almost no difference in gaming, but it does benefit editing a little more.
+Sublime IO yeah I agree. If I had more $$ I would have bought 16gb at 3200mhz.
Can I put two more of these for a total of 4?
Yo!!! Just built my first PC and made a Video about it! its pretty badass!
Very helpful to see all the specific steps to get from a box of parts to a working computer. The timeline index / table of contents is really helpful, too. Thank you!
Word on the streets is that He had No beard when He started this build !! 😂
😂😂😂
Great video! Now have the confidence to try my first computer build and switch from editing video on an under powered laptop. Thanks!
She's not having a great time.
Great video!
I'm building this exact computer for video editing! I have all my parts except for my ryzen CPU and power supply which will be here in 2 more days. I've watched this video 3 times already lol I'm super stoked!!
@Monicud you don't need it. I built mine and didn't use it. It works great
10 min in... look down at the progress bar... 1 hr+ video. Gonna have to watch this later lol
Hahaha!! Hope you find time to watch it soon! :)
Any help would be greatly appreciated 🙏
Update: actually got it fixed.... After resinserting everything, I went to the power supply and replugged everything which seemed to work!!!
Old Bull Lee I’m having the same problem. Everything is running but no signal to monitor and I feel like I tried unplugging and plugging it back in already
marianivich86 same, this dude needs to do an update video on that subject
Thanks to you I just bought the parts for a pc that coming from Mac would have cost me close to 2k-4k. Mind blowing.
*Tells the internet to NOT make this into a MAC vs. PC discussion in the comments*... Secretly knows that it will happen anyway lol
Hahaha doing what I can! Thanks!
39:20 you can also take a photo with your phone and enlarge the photo if needed to see it better. (if someone said that before I sorry )
I thought Amish dont do electricity.
+Michael P. Shipley 😂😂😂 my computer runs on electricity generated from my horse drawn carriage.
Lmao!! 😂
Amish also don't have mustaches, so I guess your joke wasn't as funny as you'd hoped.
Ever heard of "Rumspringa" ?
Thank you for inspiring me to do my own build. I too seem to have had luck for the very first time
Dude, this one was so helpful. :)
Thanks man!
Just came back to this video to say this was my first every build and it is amazing thanks!
Dear Matt,
I am only a novice when it comes building my own computer or editing my own videos.
Thank you,
Sarith Yim
+Sarith Yim thanks so much Sarith! Hope you enjoy building your computer!
I've watched atleast 50 videos and this video finally answers my questions. Thanks a lot.
This was extremely helpful for me. I have been thinking of building a computer strictly for editing 4k video and editing raw photo's with the adobe cloud suite. I have never built a computer so it was a bit of a reach for me, but after watching this it seems very simple. Thanks again look forward to more content like this.
+Justn Malpica thanks Justn! You should totally do it!
47:19 The latency does not matter, since electrons travel at almost the speed of light (It's just about a few picoseconds)
What matters is how much PCIe Lanes your Slot has, often the lower ones only have 8 instead of 16 Lanes
+Felix R thanks for clarification :)
Matt you are awesome you are very unique and inspiring. I don't know anything about computers but I have all the parts for you in front of me to build this computer I'm so excited and I can't stop trying to learn about these computers and everything u r quite eccentric I love your personality and you seem very playful and like to have a lot of fun so glad I caught this video for the past months watching you has been a big part of my life
Thanks to this video I had the mind set to build my 1st tower! Thanks Matt!
Matt this video was the best! I've been thinking about building a PC since early 2020 but the time (and graphics cards) finally arrived!!
