    Norm ! You MUST acquire an Edgar Winter Key-Tar. Polish up your version of Frankenstein. It will set a record for NRG video views.

    Killer bass and one hell of a good sounding Tele. And Norm, pretty good guys. The wrong notes come see them.

    I'm 71 and my ears are shot, but I thought the melodica and guitar harmonized really well.

    'Second take on this, as first time 'round I was listening to Norm and Paul rather than Roberto (and had to keep pulling myself up from doing so this time too).. 'Agree, very cool and most certainly gorgeous and that red's got to be as you say.. ..and as usual, the P Bass does *not* disappoint, that's one heck of an instrument. 😎♥

    I love your videos. But I must say that I owned a 1979 P base. It was the worst base I ever owned I spent a fortune Trying to make it sound The way I wanted it to snow. And then solve it at a loss. A semi finals first stuff up is a base guitar. Should not sound like an amplified tuba. Sorry, Leo.

      As with everything you can get some dogs, some ok ones and some outstanding ones. And even more during that time. The PB is not a legend for nothing.

      @@vayabroder729 Well, I cannot say I disagree. I was just reporting my experience. When I?
      Got it. I was under the impression that it was the greatest base in the world. It was only after that that I realized I was after a different sound. Than what it could produce. I had the chance to play A68P Bahe days.That sounded just exactly the way I wanted it to I think that kind of proves your point. I guess all I'm saying is CBS bases were widely inconsistent and generally unsatisfied. Which is why every bass player in my town switched friends at that time.

    • @vayabroder729
      @vayabroder729 5 месяцев назад

      @@barbaraanneneale3674 Exactly! Later CBS quality got really spotty.

      @@vayabroder729 Thank you so much. But I must say that I was trying to get something out of AP basebay that really can't be gotten. I was looking for that piano base sound. And I just couldn't get it out of that particular p base. I also had a jazz of the same year. But I used it to audition for bands. And every time I did hi blue speakers out in the amps. I can imagine why this would happen. Maybe it was all coincidence loose. But I had to get rid of those games plannedamn thing. It played OK and sounded more like I wanted a base to sound but crapes. How could I play that and blow up a amplifier?

    • @vayabroder729
      @vayabroder729 5 месяцев назад

      @@barbaraanneneale3674 I guess round wound strings approximate more a piano string than flats. Those would give you a brighter sound, more focused sound. A P Bass with flats is definitely old school.
