get some better tires in the exploder and it will go anywhere. I have a 99 ford exploder with a 4bt Cummins swap and let me tell us the best exploder I existance. the added weight of the diesel engine. helps with winter and mud traction that and some Micky Thompson Baja claws I got me a sweet rig that most jeep owners are jealous of.... I'm happy
If you could put a 6.0 Ford diesel in an Excursion with 10,000 miles, you couldn't sell them fast enough. I know a family of 11 who needs a truck like this.

My '03 has a 6.0 in it. The early '03/04 motor too have quite a bit done to it
