@andrew kruth but of a late reply mate.... 9 months on. Think you need to take a chill pill. Weve been and gone, it was brilliant. All the "locals" we met were very happy with the boom in tourism due to the Pandemic.
I also think your misplaced vendetta against us social media people is way off, the problem the "locals" we met had was with the increase in camper vans blocking roads, and certainly not couples in cars paying their way in local hotels, b&b's, cafes and restaurants. 🤷🏻♂️

Hi Chelsea, love the videos given me lots of good ideas especially want to do the Route 500 soon. Random suggestion as I see you were in Newcastle recently and enjoyed it. Not many people explore beautiful Durham city when they visit my area and have a preference of Newcastle. There busy modernising the city at the moment but it's worth a look especially around Xmas time or November for Lumiere make an awesome video 👍

The Ullapool Tesco is one of the grimmest in the UK haha. It is a wee shop with an absolutely enormous car park!!! Glad you enjoyed your trip though haha!

Depends where in scotland you go the midges can be better or worse. I live on the eastern part of scotland in fife and its not too bad but if you goto Fort william and forget to close a window at night then you could go toilet during the night and have the whole ceiling covered in midges cause true story happened years ago to me.
This is good intel!!! We actually didn't have a bad experience at all. Had a couple of bites earlier on but used Avon's 'So Soft' spray which is all natural and wasn't bothered again!
