I hate when they talk about jones Gustafson, Gus won the first 3 rounds decisively the last two rounds didn’t matter. No one thought he won that fight but now they talk about it like he did and I’ve never heard it said that he didn’t train for that fight. They just said he didn’t take him seriously. So much spin. Jones lost but they gave him the decision to protect him. Rematch he just surprised Gus with a takedown early. Not to mention he put off the rematch for some time.

I actually disagree with people saying he’s much more slow now , he’s somewhat slower (other than the Gane fight) bc I think the way he used his hands now is better than before , I’ve never seen him use his str8 jabs & crosses that well before like he did vs stipe like so well placed .. I think Tom can catch him BUT you’re not steamrolling jones in the 1st .. Tom has to win before the decision bc jones will 100% win by decision considering he’s more versatile and will have more of a variety of strikes & most likely at least 1 takedown & more control time with that .. Tom’s only shot is a KO between the 3-5 rounds because I don’t see him knocking Jon out early at all his chin is too elite & he’s way more experienced in these situations..
