- First attempt at catching Blue Point crabs from my kayak. I was using crab nets baited with turkey necks and found enough for a seafood boil.

Now that is a nice video / from beginning to end. Good work.
Ayyee thanks a lot T-mike, I’m itching to try again, possibly with some better nets. Thanks for watching and the comment! Take care
1:17 Good to see you can put your differences aside and enjoy time with one of your greatest enemies, an open net
I absolutely hate open nets
Thanks for sharing, have a wonderful weekend and be safe 💟💝
Thanks for watching!
That is awesome man! I want to do that for sure!!!
It was really fun, because it’s nonstop action, no downtime. Thanks for watching !
Crabbing is a blast! You did great from your kayak! Love it out there! Just subscribed!
Kelly
I love how you are always moving, going from net to net, keeps that breeze on you during the summer. Thanks for watching Kelly
I really need to try this from my Kayak ☺️ I love being out on the water! Love me some crabs 🦀
It’s really fun, plus you stay moving, always something to do. Thanks for watching!
Outstanding!!! Great idea and execution and video!! Hope that was fun.
You were on your way to several dozen had it not been for that storm.
Well done!
Now you need a day out there casting for reds.
That sounded like hail!! No fun. Glad you got off the water.
Cheers and good luck ahead.
I was wondering how much I would catch had I stayed another 3 hours, there was a moving tide till about 1pm. I honestly had a blast, except the nets are basically one time use, I’ll have to upgrade the nets possibly if I try that again. Really glad I didn’t venture out too far with those summer storms. Thanks for watching and the comment! Look forward to more.
Dang that looks super fun. I wanna try this, never done it from a kayak before but it looks productive. You got in right before it poured, nice work man
It was a good test run and not bad for 2 hours, I would like to try again soon minus the storms 🌩️. Thanks for watching BOB!
You got in just in time
Yea, glad I stayed close to land 😮💨
Nice job, I had no idea you could get on to them that fast. I thought people had to leave traps out all day. To obad about the weather, but pretty good for a coupe of hours. Glad you got out of there when you did.
I think for the crab nets, 10-15 mins is probably enough, since they will keep eating up the bait. I want to try again and see what 4-5 hours produces. Thanks for watching!
Just went fishing there. Caught 2 bull reds and specks among other stuff. Might have to try crabbing and fishing soon! Good video
Nice man, I never caught a bull red there, only black drum. Awesome place to fish!
Made it just in time :) Fantastic effort for your first time out, enough for a good meal for sure. Any idea what cut the line on one of your traps? Great job and you'll have to do that again. Cheers!
I had 2-3 traps with cut lines, my guess is a crab snipping the line? I honestly don’t know but those nets are so cheap, almost disposable. Thanks for watching Larry!
@@LaYakFishing Yeah, seen the price at the start, those same style nets over here are about $20 each.
Nice video, but those Dick's Chinese crab nets are junk. Go to a local fishing shop and get some made locally, you will pay more but they will last.
Thanks! Lookout for my next couple of videos, big upgrades coming
Those nets are to light duty. They did do the trick though. Great video.
