      It takes practice it's just doing abnormal one side goes over the middle and the other side crosses the middle braid and you cross each side over once then start adding pieces every time you cross. Look at how other position their hands when they braid to understand how to hold all the hair and not get it loose

    • @emilyshen1063
      @emilyshen1063 10 лет назад +1

      Alexandra Brain Washing your hair everyday removes the natural oils you produce which can make your hair really course and dry. Try and wash it 2-3 times a week to maintain the oils in you hair. It does make a difference and leaves your hair silky.

    My hair... o.m. GOD! It's SO curly that people think i'm lying when I say it's natural and I CAN'T straighten it. It WONT let me... it just curls back within 5 effing seconds! UGH!! Please give me some tips on how to manage...

    • @thectorbob01
      @thectorbob01 10 лет назад

      How long do you straighten it for? I also have incredibly curly, frizzy, thick hair. If you straighten one section once, it will still be curly/wavy. You need to go over it a few times, but I think you already know that, I just wanted to reiterate. A trick that I use is to separate my hair into thin, small sections and straighten that small strand. Once that section is done I tie it off to the side. I usually go over the hair with the straighten when I'm done, just to fix any wavy parts. It takes a while (for me it can take up to 4 hours. My hair is really thick) but I promise it does help your hair stay straight longer. After, I would suggest using some kind of spray that helps protect your hair from humidity. This will also help your hair stay straighter longer. Using a straightener that goes up to a high temperature also works best. I'm sorry if this didn't help, I just wanted to share some of my tips.

      you can use the 3 day straight shampoo by John Frida that helps you can you many of his other product that are for frizz control their products are very inexpensive and affordable for your every need. :) hope this helped you

    • @kaylajenai7
      @kaylajenai7 9 лет назад +1

      When you're trying to straighten it, use the chase method with a fine tooth comb. Basically put the comb on the small section of hair, and then put your hair straightener behind it. If that doesn't make sense, just look up a video on RUclips! Also, purchase hair products with keratin in them! Try not to do the keratin treatment. Instead get like Keratin deep conditioner, or Keratin spray and heat protectant. It makes your hair stay straighter longer and limits the amount of frizz!
