Above and by far one of the easiest to follow and informative jeep videos I have watched. Thanks for helping those of us who are new to the Jeep world and trying to work on our own rigs!
Awesome, that’s the entire point of any of these, Jeepers helping Jeepers.
Great video - hopefully I can install these things once it arrives!! Again, Thanks for the excellent video - really helpful!!
I’m sure you’ll have no issues. Pretty easy install
Absolutely one of the better explanation and install. I’m switching to Apex 2.5 ton
Steer components on a diesel JLUR these will go along nicely. I think a little white silicone would probably protect from the elements. I certainly prefer the security vs having a sway bar totally free. Never thought that was the wisest idea.
Still love them, they are super efficient and work flawlessly
It would be great to see a year after review of these.
Nice suggestion. I’ll do that
Great video!
Thanks!
Nice links!!
Thanks, I love them, so far...
Great video! Just curious if you’ve had any issues with dirt or mud getting Into these links. Where I wheel there’s a lot of big water and mud holes so I’m wondering how they’ll do in those conditions. Thanks
Thank you. No I have had zero issue. Even during monsoon season. Massive flooding
Love these. I have the teraflex but plan on swapping out
how did it come out?
@@ExfilOffRoad love them. One turn and it's good to go
@@DelanoJ nice
What stroke were you using? 8 inch or 10 1/2 inch stroke
Great video, love the camera angle after install. Not sure if anyone noticed but in your install you explained that the nut with blue lock tight was screwed all the way down then later you had it correct, screwed up against the.locking ring. I was confused at first because I watched what you did then went to the Apex web site and there illustration was different.
Man, didn’t even realize it. I must have added the wrong edit 😢
@@ExfilOffRoad your video was top notch!!! Best I've seen on install and showing performance. Don't sweat the small stuff 🤣 keep up the work, I need all the helpful tips I can get with my build!!!
21 Mojave
Nice job on the video
Thanks!
Looking at these for my Mojave. My only concern with all the moving parts is are they noisy ? Thanks for the video🤘🏻
Nope, not noisy at all
@@ExfilOffRoad Great thank you!
Ohh those are bad ass
They are!
what about mud getting on the piston shaft, does that cause a problem.
I have JL Rubicon electronic disconnect, don't have a moving piston shaft but do get mud caked on the bushing ends.
They work like your shocks do, no more of an issue.
So, unlike a shock, when these are 'locked' the piston is depressed all of their set travel. And when unlocked, if you are wheeling and compressing, say, the driver side the piston is still closed and the sway bar still moves BUT the passenger side 'opens' instead of being pulled with the sway bar. Do I understand this correctly?
Correct
How is it holding up? Any scratches or noises?
Great. No noise, no issues
How are they doing after a month +
Still great. But I don’t wheel every weekend either
Should I get a 8.5 or the 10.5?
Their website tells you what they recommend for your specific size lift.
You showed some flex in your video but how is it when that wheel is not flexing but is being pushed up into the fender well? Does this limit that movement?
On mine haven’t seen any limit. But most people cut into their fender liner, plastic or metal ones, and leave a hole there for it to articulate through.
@@ExfilOffRoad Or adjust your bumpstops, right?
Do they hit the fender when rock crawling ?
Yes they will hit the inner liner. Manufacturer suggests cutting hole in liner.
You can adjust to bump stops to keep this from happening
Replied to every comment. My kinda guy! Nice video, nice O|||||||O 🤙🏻
I do my best 🤣
Except the one right above this one asking if they hit the inner fender liner. I personally would like to see some full stuff and full droop to draw any conclusion. Obviously on mostly flat ground they work perfectly. Try and jamb one thru the fender liner please so I can go buy some and DON'T do that.
there was no flex, it was all on flat road but easy to disconnect and get a smoother fire road ride. guess if you don't have the electronic sway bar and don't want to deal with other methods they work, but you still have to push them in place to lock. good idea but $450 for a pair whew!
No electrical failure though.
Does it hit the inner fender when flexed up?
Still happy with these?
Yes
Not like a shock absorber at all.
“More like a” not actually… 😁
