    Just installed these! I’m extremely happy and impressed with the design, quality and ease of installation!! Probably the easiest install of any aftermarket parts ever.

    I've had my JKS quick disconnect for about 1.5 years on my JK U with 2.5" lift and 33" tires and they work great. Easy to install and remove when off-road.

    Super nice disconnects. I really think you guys could have come up with a better way to stow the sway bar tho. I seen one pair of disconnects, not sure of manufacturer, but they disconnect only at the bottom and swing forward to stow the llinks in a bracket that is premounted in a forward portion of the frame.

      That's exactly where I stand with these. I love how beefy they are and the other functionality they come with. However, for such a premium product, I'd expect them to have that pin attached to the frame so I can tuck em outta the way. Wonder if they'll work with my teraflex pin 🤔

    I've got the jks disconnects with a lift of about 4", my two issues right now are that I went go grease them and the grease nipple snapped right off?! Also I've got this really annoying and hard to figure out knocking when I go over any kind of bump... never happened with my stock end links. I've checked to make sure the adjustment nut is tight, and it was. But I still can't figure it out.
    Thanks, Sheldon

    Got mine for the front for under a 2.5” lift and now i’m learning the straps are to hold the actual swaybar out the way….guess i’ve been lucky so far just angling it up and calling it a day.

    Do you make quick disconnect rear sway bars for my JK?

    Do you have any videos demonstrating how to rebuild these? I just bought the kit and I'll probably be able to figure it out, it would be cool to have a reference though.

    Ok love your products question. In disconnecting the sway bar before going off road do you remove both left and right bars or just 1 ?

    The straps should hold the sway bore from top and bottom. The way it is now, during bumps the bar still could go up and puncture the tire. If you have a strap from the bottom, that wouldn't happen. I think I'll rig up a strut to hold the sway bar in place instead. Cheers, good video.

    When/why do you disconnect for articulation only? I have a 04 hrand cherokee, im going to order a 3” benchmark lift from IRO. Do I need jks quick disconnects? Im never gonna rock crawl or do any real heavy trails. My goal is basically the a awesome hunting jeep, running backroads and some occasional trails. Any advice? Thanks

    I installed my links last month and notice that one link is longer than the the other but the sway bar is level with the frame. Sent a message through Messenger and they replied sometimes this may happen because the sway bar is not always straight.
    Is this true?

      Jeep has been known for tolerance issues in several areas with the sway bar being one of them.

    What do you mean a storage post? I have a TJ. Is it already installed or do I have to buy one? And when un hooking, the bottom is not detached as well? Taking the whole link off? If not am I supposed to strap it down too.

      Did you ever find an answer? I’m also looking at getting these for my TJ. Just a 2.5 inch lift for awareness.

    I currently have an AEV 3.5" lift on a 2015 Jeep Wrangler Sahara. I am looking at adding these to my Jeep. I went to JKS's webpage and added them to my chart. I was given the option to add a Sway Bar Clamp Kit and and Sway Bar Lanyard. My question involves the Sway Bar Clamp Kit. How does the Sway Bard Clamp Kit differ from the Sway Bar Lanyard and will they both work on my Jeep? Thanks in advance for your prompt reply.

    • @JKSmanufacturing
      @JKSmanufacturing  6 лет назад

      The sway bar clamp kit keeps the sway bar itself from sliding side to side in the bushings. It allows you to keep the bar centered in the vehicle at all times. The lanyards are there to tie up the sway bar when the links are disconnected so that the bar does not droop down and make contact with the tires, or any suspension component.

      Thank you. It sounds like I need to purchase both.

    I currently have no lift but plan to install a 2" lift and maybe even down the road a 3" lift. Would it be okay for me to go ahead and get your Qucker Disconnect for 2.5-6" lift or will I have issues?

    • @JKSmanufacturing
      @JKSmanufacturing  7 лет назад +1

      You'll have a higher rake on the sway bar for your 2" lift which could potentially cause some rubbing that you won't want. If you can look into getting our Jspec 3.5" lift system as it will get you everything you are looking for in one swing!

    Im having troubles disconnecting… I have disconnected, but issues reconnecting… now, the drivers side removes easily, stiff, but easily. Passenger side, not much… the bar does not clear the pin to fully remove it.

  • @djarizona
    @djarizona 6 лет назад +2

    I really like the JKS parts and upgrade components but that sway bar strap is the worst idea. I prefer an alternate pin location to swing the sway bar out of the way, its just better.

    • @DHandyFamily

      But like he said the tire will hit the sway bar pin.. what and how are you moving yours out of the way?
