Your Kephart style knife looks right at home in that sheath. I like the way you kept the sheath simple and added the drawing. A matching pouch sounds great. Take care.

Fantastic job George. A pouch for your fire starting equipment/supplies would be nice. Oh don't forget a chocolate bar and a few packets of tea or coffee.

0h George! I woke up and the ice gnomes were whispering into my ear! They said tell george to scale scraper notch the back of the next knife he puts in your face! Oh you can stiffen the leather with boiled linseed oil. My cheap sheath got hard to stuff my camp kitchen knife. Drops in perfectly now! Those gnomes are quiet lil buddies!

Nice. Never seen a sheath with a leather liner, wood and plastic, but not leather. I could see that sheath on the belt of an eastern long hunter. I like it a lot.

👍 A well done & beautiful Mountain Man / Native American style sheath for a very good knife. I really like your painted design and braiding the leather strings was a good touch.
