Better or not, I'll keep my 23 Mach 1 manual with handling pack. This Dark Horse looks good but I still prefer the look of the S550 and also I cannot get used to that interior with those screens.
Lets go! I got a 23 mach 1 with handling package, elite package , 700a , shadow black with red painted calipers and the 6 speed tremec! I got it last may, just pulled it out of storage a week ago. I am in love with this car. I had a bit of buyers remorse when I first saw the Dark Horse but not anymore.
@@FastLane-GripAll a matter of preference, there's no right or wrong here. They are both very nice cars. Maybe the interior with those huge screens will grow on me one day ..
Unless you are going to track your Mustang every week, the dark horse is a waste of money. The GT with a manual is a much better daily driver, and the performance is almost the same aside from stiffer suspension. The manual transmission weighs less than an automatic transmission as well. I bought a plain Jane entry-level stick shift and a premium level stick shift. The bang for the buck is in the entry level. I got the entry level for $40,750. Can’t beat it in todays market
Great, but it can barely get under 4.0 secs in the 0-60 time and it can't get into the high 11's in the quarter mile...still a lot of other predators out there that will leave you in the dust. Ford needed to get more torque from the Coyote engine...even put a limiter at 7,300 RPM (when it's supposed to go up to 7,500RPM). Love the sound, love the looks...but other competitors will never hear it and see it as they pass by you.
lol at 4.61 mate my 10spd beats that let alone having the pain of working gears living in a built up city … so less speed more work u keep ur Manual … least this is equipped with the tremac ..And if ford tried selling me pirelli tyres I’d say u keep that shit I want Michelin PS4. Love my pp1 set up plus PS4 tyres and of course The 10R80 all day long.
Lacks straight line performance (it can't break under 4.0 secs in 0-60 time). Though Motortrend says it can do 0-60 in 3.7 secs with the auto 10 speed. I have yet to see a video posting that number. Though it has more horse power than a Camaro SS, the DH's torque is much lower...so the SS will eat you up every time (at much lesser price, if you can get one of the last ones).Every video of the DH touts the Tremec 6 speed manual as the way to go...but unfortunately it makes the DH go slow (and it's driver dependent on how well he/she shifts, etc). And just for your information I have had a DH on order since early September '23. Still no build date. However, there are a lot of DH's for sale throughout the country...which tells me that it's over priced, too heavy, and overrated...and a low percentage of buyers will track this vehicle...I may be cancelling my order due to it's streetlight to streetlight modest performance. And now that a sneak peak of the soon to be released Shelby GT500 has been exposed...the DH will most likely go back into "hiding." Will someone please test an automatic DH and show that it can break 4.0 secs...I would love to see that!
Who give a fuck about a sub 4.0 sec 0-60. The car is built to go around a track fast, it's not a drag car. Get a Demon or hellcat or even a tesla plaid. The dark horse is a corner carver.
Blue Ember is the best color for this vehicle. 😁
I have the Shadow black, I find it tones down the "Mascara" and hood decals.

I am the opposite. Didn't like the Mach 1, especially those color/stripe schemes. Blue Ember DH is awesome IMO.

@@MarkSalonia New mustangs are built to go around a track fast. They are not drag cars anymore, except for the GT500 which will beat a lot of cars.
I agree with this guy. I also think most will buy to either collect or buy for pure looks. Most mustang average joe is going to GT manual all day

You can't row gears like a man it's OK soy boy have the computer do it for you. Your logic can be applied for EVs. Nobody cares they are "faster"

If you aren't looking for handling, avoid the DH. A Tesla will give you better streetlight performance.
