BuzzyBeatz Hi! I do not know at all, but yes it can be used, it depends on what camera you’re using, I would not recommend heavy setup when working with zhiyun crane v2...
You could try adding a counterbalance weight underneath the zhiyun plate in order to allow you to move the camera further forward so you can get some distance. :)
Hello. You are using a Panasonic Lumix GH camera and a Sigma AF 18-35mm lens with a Viltrox EF-M1 adapter. If you focus on the subject, and change the focal length of the lens (18 - 35 or 35 - 18). Does the subject remain sharp? The sharpness disappears on my camera, and I need to focus a second time. When using a Panasonic 12 -38, 2.8 lens, there is no such effect. I change the focal length and the subject is constantly in focus. What do you think is the cause of the effect with Sigma AF 18-35mm.
"Will try a setup with a cage on the GH5 in the next video and see if that would improve the placement more and see if its still works properly." Where's this video? Did it work?

Do you thank adding counter weights would allow you to move the camera more to the front to have a full range of motion with the crane 2 with out hitting the viewfinder ?
Clayton Daigle Actually adding counter weight and just slide off the viewfinder rubber it would not touch the back motor at all and enable to do 90degree tilt up.
If you remove the eye cup it may be free of black motor hitting it, right? Or still hits de camera? And if you close the camera LCD a bit you can invert the gimbal, not a big deal (unless you are using hdmi cable, so you have to remove it, etc which is annoying). Thanks for the video!
Thanks a good thing to know! I do it with my GH5s + Canon 24-105 F4 lens on the first Crane generation, actually i always use it without the eye cup because of it hahahaha. Im considering buying the Crane 2 + follow focus to use my setup and was wondering about the balance and space.
The control cable for the GH5 is too short. Is there a workaround? Like an adapter? Or is there a way to get a longer one? Been using my Crane 2 with a GH5 and Rokinon Cine lenses setup for 6 months now.
For those of you who are still looking for a way round with gh5 cable which is too short, I bought a very cheap micro usb cable adaptor and it did the trick! let me know if you want me to send you the link to amazon
@@chungdha I've seen someone using a gravity plate with V2 installing sigma 18-35mm My question is can we use the same gravity plate on V2 or something that look like it??
Hi! So is It possible to have both servo focus and video record/stop at the same time on the crane 2 with GH5? If so, how do you do that there is only one servo input?
Hi I have exactly the same setup but around the lens I saw a clever circle without obstacle unlike from zhyiun where did buy this I'm interested cause mine when turn the wheel servo follow focus touch the end of this belt thx
ND is not that much more weight actually can attach mic or LED light like Aputure Amaran MX on the camera body to make the back heavier so need to move the camera forward more.
Just tried with a cage and that doesn't seem to make any difference as the cage design all put most weight forward than back, Rode video Mic Pro actually helps and heavier compact LED lights on the hotshoe.
Hey thanks for this video, but how do you connect the camera with the gimbal. The original cable for GH5 is to short.
Great demo. Easy to follow because you didn't go to fast or skip steps. Thanks!
Whats good bruh, dope video!?
Have you tried stabilizing this setup with an external monitor ?
8:17 you can remove the viewfinder thing if it is disturbing you, just slide it up to remove it and you'll have space for gimbal
Hi ! Do you know if the Sigma 18-35mm can be stabilized with zhiyun CRANE V2? adding a Zhiyun Gravity Plate??? Thank you!

Thanks for creating this video. Have you tried removing the eye piece? Maybe it would give enough clearance to tilt further?
You think this same set up will work with a BMPCC 4k?
Great. Is it possible to put FF servo for handle the Zoom (first wheel of lens) instead Focus?

Is a review of this camera coming soon? Looking to upgrade from my current DSLR and I would love to see your full opinion on it.
If you take off the eyecup the back motor still hits the camera or it has enough space?
I have the GH5 with the Zhiyun crane 2 but if I push the record button its recording only 1 sec. Do you have any idea ?

Without the eye cup actually clears it very well can do more tilting up.

Have the same issue. The cable from the servo to the GH5 is to short. Saw a cable on ebay that may work.

Eric Mgz can I get that link bro?
Would be great to have the link! Do all regular USB micro USB cables work? Does is also allow iso, aperture, shutter and recording? Thanks.
Thank you - this helped me!
do u use panasonic cable to control the camera?
show the cables what we need sir perfectly pls and in object tracking mode only i phone will work or all android phones
objec tracking all phones work, but phone must be mounted ontop of the camera.
Hi ! Does this can work with the zhiyun crane v2???
V2 is for more lightweight camera not such heavy setup.

So if you install the servo focus, you can't make use of the record button on the gimbal?
Stan KMT You can these is another extra cable you can attach from the servo to camera for that,
Yes, but the cable that comes with the crane is too short to reach. :(
Did you ever figure out a solution?
True Terpenes nope, still cant press record

Seamless focus gears area great there in a link in the description to the ones I used.
The USB cable for Panasonic is muuuuuch to short from the Servo to the camera. Why is nobody talking about this? I use a GH5.
dira pictures fuuuuck same problem. How can i solve this problem?
@@pisuch i got a solution with an Micro USB cable.
dira pictures how? The gh4 camera connection input is a jack!
Getting a lot of bounce. Any possible way to eliminate that?
Did adjusting the motor strength help? I'm having this same issue.
Don't put the gimbal 100% vertical when you are walking, try to tilt the gimbal, and of course use short focal lenghts
Hi Chung! Whats the model number of that manfretto release plate you have on there? Thanks.
Plain Manfrotto 500pl that is on most manfrotto tripods.
chungdha Thank you! I use the Sigma 18-35 as well on the Sony A6500. But the plate that come with the Crane 2 doesn't really fit properly on the lens.
Delachi One you need a cage or l bracket to make it fit
18-35 I am wondering where to buy the focus ring.
Link is in the description its seamless focus gear
Thank you for answer
Is gearing material a 3D printer product?
Or is it rubber?
3D print product
THANKS!
Do I get servo follow focus with the gimbal?
You do now
its not so hard thanks

yes i know ! but the problem is that you can't tilt. I've tried with to add wight in the camera to change the center.

Change your motor strenghts
chungdha up or down? Cause I think I have it turned all the way up.
Just test each setting and see yourself which fits your setup..
