The Sun is a pain in the rectum area Mike ,but you controlled it very well ! Yes much to see and enjoy and great meeting up with Colin.Ely is definitely the place to go if you want plenty of Box action and a really nice Station and it's layout. Enjoyed this as i always do ,cheers Nick.
We can only do our best Nick with what weather we get, if we only filmed trains with the sun behind us we wouldn't film as many workings. See you next month up your way, will give you more details when I know them. Cheers for watching Mike.
Great video Mike. Was good to see the same freights filmed from different angles and vantage points, though that low winter sun and the long shadows certainly made filming challenging on the day. Thanks for the upload mate and i look forward to the next time we meet. Take care and best regards, Colin.
Definitely a great one Mike wow. Lots happening there with the Intermodal freight. Excellent shots and captures. Another gooden from you. That FL 66 TnT at the end was interesting. Very nice indeed. Really enjoyed, thanks for sharing!
I see what you mean about that Sun Mike. We shouldn't complain about settled Sunny weather though haha. It was a great watch though and superb for intermodal action
Brilliant video Mike, it's why Ely is one of my favourite spotting destinations. You never know what you'll see freight wise...just a pity no 69's pass through Ely, coming from Middleton towers. They tend to take the Ely north junction heading north. One thing that does my head in are those damned 387's.....👍
@antman09ful1 when I film there it's usually in the morning, would it be worth trying an afternoon session like you did? I spend most of my time spotting at Peterborough and Ely because of the variety of freight you see 👍
I don't think I have ever seen a tnt container train before Mike well done for another good video
Yes Owain it is very unusual but I have just once before on that diagram, cheers Mike.
Great video Mike, nice to see so much freight going through the station at Ely. Well done 🤓
Thank you very much Tony, I believe there will be less traffic coming this way later this year.
Like 👍 great video ,greetings 🚂👍💯
Many thanks for watching this long video.

Yes Colin I agree with your comment with that low sun, but we had a good afternoon together.
Cheers for watching Mike.

Many thanks Jamie I don't know the reason why they do a TnT on that diagram, maybe someone will tell us.
Excellent video as always 👍
I can imagine it being a challenge for the signallers, pathing all that freight on the single track section to Soham
Yes I know where you mean as I was on a train a few years back and had to wait to get onto the single line section.
Great action at Ely Mike. Thank you for sharing 👍
Thank you very much for watching Arnold.
@@antman09ful1 No problem :)
Nice video Mike :)
Glad you enjoyed it Simon.
That 4H99 catch was a good one as well Mike. Nice mix of wagons just come off the lathe at Ipswich
Oh right Ben, cheers.

Yes a good afternoon had by all Ben, and GBRf won with the amount of trains passing through.
@antman09ful1 😁

Great comment mate, yes I understand your thinking about the 387s.
Thank you for watching my video.
