Well that was a cracking video Mike. Never filmed at Southampton before and it makes a big change from Eastleigh. Was suprised to see a GN387 in the platform, no doubt standing in for one of the red variety. Thanks for sharing this great footage Mike, all the best, Colin.
Yes indeed it made a nice change from going to Eastleigh Colin, I think that ex GN 387 has been transferred to Southern, see you soon I believe, regards Mike.
Well that was awesome Mike! You did see plenty of 70's there including 70020 a Tangoed shed and catch of the day had to be the four shed convoy with two celeb gb locos and two rare Colas. Really enjoyed, great locations around Southampton, cheers Nick.
Yes I was pleased with what I could film, but Nick it was cold so I was very happy to get on my train home at just after 16.00 hrs. Cheers for another kind comment.
Another great video! I always assumed the only passenger services were provided by CrossCountry, GWR and South Western, so I was surprised to see GTR trains. Also, good to see you captured a Microlino bubble car in the car park 1:58!
Brilliant shots and captures Mike. Great sounds and liveries. Another gooden from you. Good action and those 70s love them. That was an interesting GB/Colas convoy. Top stuff, great filming from you. Very nice indeed! Really enjoyed, thanks for sharing!
Great video Mike - I just love those 70’s 😎👍🏽 Its a busy part of the network there for container freight. There is also a level crossing nearby that spans all lines…its a great vantage point to see trains, but I do feel sorry for the road users as the barriers are more often lowered than up 😄👍🏽
Oh yes that level crossing could be worth a visit but the downside to it would be the noise from the vehicles I think, but its worth checking it out next time and thank you for your comment, regards Mike.
Cool video at Southampton Mike. Nice seeing the convoy of GB & Colas sheds plus this station is good for catching 70's including the colas 70 which is a nice surprise 👍. Thanks for sharing. Take care, Arnold.
Excellent footage, those intermodals never stopped coming
It always amazes me the amount of stuff which gets moved around the world, thank you for checking out this video mate.
Very enjoyable to watch Mike (as always).
Many thanks Andrew, hope the next video is to your liking, regards Mike.

Yes me too seeing them GTRs, and yes that bubble car was a bit rare, but thank you very much for the interest in my video fuzzynutter8344

Cheers for watching my video Arnold from a area I don't visit much, yes you are right about the class 70s, regards Mike.
Cracking video! My guess on those containers, look like some sort of portable generators constructed abroad, judging by the ports/sockets on the side.
Oh right that is possible I suppose, thanks for your thoughts on my video.
Nice change of location for containers.
I think so too Steve, cheers for watching.
Great video Mike, nice class 70 action. The odd containers look like they've been repurposed for modular storage or the like. Well done 🤓
Thanks for your thoughts on this one Tony.
Unusual containers. Nice Mike.
Thank you David.
Well done Mike , looked a good afternoon. Was a shame I couldn't join you that day .
Hopefully when I get that way again you will be able to Jamie, cheers for the comment regards Mike.
Southampton looks a vibrant place and is definely on my bucket list, along with Eastleigh. Great vid though
You should give it a go, like most I normally go to Eastleigh if I'm in that area, so this made a nice change.
@antman09ful1 it's a long way from me living in Chesterfield lol
Nice video Mike :)
Cheers Simon.
Plenty of intermodals & “Betty" action. Looked like you had an enjoyable day.
I did enjoy the chance of getting down to that area, and it worked out good thanks to your help Paul.
