Hey Mr. Technodad I've been dealing with anxiety and depression for a while now. Last night, I watched Tommy's video and all that grief just hit me like a truck. I felt so guilty about how I felt, "What's wrong with me, I'm broken, I have no right to feel this way." So that part after Skeppy opened up was really impactful to me. It hurts so much, but I'll try to keep moving forward, for both Techno and myself. I don't know how long this feeling of optimism will last, but thank you, Skeppy, Technodad, for everything you've done for the community.
You have every right to feel whatever you feel. You have nothing to feel guilty for. Your feelings are valid. I put off getting treatment for my anxiety and depression for many years, and there was no good reason for it. Once I finally started to get treatment and started to feel better, I was like, "Why did I wait so long?" I believe everyone deserves to experience joy and happiness and love in their life. Seek it out! Look for joy and happiness in every day, no matter how small.
The skeppy and techno duo was by far one of my favorites, and I have never seen skeppy this upset about something, and he had every right to do im not saying it’s weird he is upset. I am too, matter of fact I am on the verge of tears writing this. Skeppy stayed strong but I wish he could know that if he ever cried on stream for any reason no one would judge him. 😭

When the information first came out I saw a lot of people were worried about tommy and Phil and the people that were front of social media being friends. But Skeppy was one of the OG friends of Techno. they had there start together. Rest In Peace king.

Last year, when Techno's death came to light, I had watched maybe like a compilation video or two of him. But when I saw Technodad explain the situation in the "So Long Nerds" video, even though I didn't know much about Techno, I started crying. It was a strange feeling, crying from something you didn't understand. A year later, I was interested enough to watch more of Techno, so now I guess I could consider myself a fan. And now that I do, it hurts. Wish I was there for his prime. However, thanks to Technodad, I feel like he lives on. So thanks to both of you for this video and for carrying on your friend's/son's legacy.

I was at work while listening to this.. and hearing Technodads dream... seeing how our brain tries to cope with a traumatic events, giving us a route to deny... and how strong technodad was to look reality in the face even though it hurts to. i had to go to the restroom to sob and cry.... and skeppy opening up too. Specially since that's exactly what I've been doing too, rewatching every single technoblade video and learning more about him by watching things i had already seen... Its so hard.. but it is very very important to grieve and cry, those emotions need an escape. It's the only way to heal. Thank you for sharing your experiences with us. You were family and friends of Techno, but plenty of us saw Techno as an important part of our life too. I'm fixing my life and trying to improve thanks to Technos last message to us.. hoping that we have a "long prosperous life.. because i love you guys.." I'll do it. I won't give up. Often times when I watch his old videos I like to pretend that it's 2016 again and I'm just watching some YT gameplay with no care in the world. But that's not the case anymore. I love these videos. Getting the multiple perspectives of people who knew Alex and their stories is just amazing and honestly is a great way to keep someone’s image alive. It’s been around a year since he passed, but we still all remember the chaos he brought. Miss you Techno ❤
One if my faviorite moments in his videos is him being unable to loose his bedwars streak, even after playing without any weapons for a few rounds, so he eventually had to jump into the void.
I really needed this. I’ve gone from a normal family dynamic to losing everyone but my own two kids and wife in the last few years… I haven’t been able to bring myself to confront these feelings in a healthy way. I’m not going to claim watching this “cured” me at all, but it has forced me to re examine how I’m doing and… phew it isn’t pretty lol I just want to thank you technodad for being so introspective on your journey with grief. The dreams don’t seem to stop, but at least now for me they become a glimpse at what was, instead of what isn’t. Keep your heads up. Lots of love.
I could go on and on telling of how Technoblade helped me, as when I found him I was in a really dark place, but im not going to say that now. What i will say is Thank You. Thank you to the community, who brought his happiness and humour into my life at the perfect time. Thank you for the fan creators who help him continue to grow and entertain amd live, even after his death. Thank you to Technodad and his family, who have helped so many of us in a heartbreaking time, even when they are also in probably worse pain than we are. Finally, thank you to Technoblade. He had such a great affect on so many people, and continued to help us, entertain us, and hello us grow even as he was struggling. What i have to say next isn't to him, but to his family and community. As I assume most of you the same, I didn't know him personally. Even though this is true, I cam sari with upmost certainty that out of Everything he would have wanted after his death, it would be to yes, grieve, but to also pick ourselves back up, and share the happiness he gave. He did what go did to share happiness, and entertain. Wallowing in your grief will not let you grow to share the love and hope that was from him. If you are somehow reading this Technodad, I hope you know that it wasn't your fault. There was nothing you could do, and he would not want you blaming yourself. I know firsthand the pain and sadness jn losing someone you love or look up to, and the sadness will always be there, but we must never forget the happy things he did and why he did them. For example, I'm not sure when, but I know that he had talked about One Punch Man in multiple videos, probably skywars commentaries. Not sure about this one, but he must have been a pretty big pokemon fan, because Tdad knows a lot of pokemon, and Tblade had a joke about turning skywars into a pokemon game
One year ago he passed i still remember that night. I still think of him and miss him a lot but things have gotten a lot better. I love his "I almost became an amputy" video becuade of how positive he was. His humor, positivity, intelligence, and care for his fans were all things that made him great and who he his. He was the most positive person I know and the most displayed. The feeling of making a joke instead of feeling the grief and feeling the reality of the situation is so hard to express, especially if you feel like if you express it you’ll have your feelings denounced or belittled. Having a father presence hopefully helped Zak and everyone else at home to feel safe in the fact that it’s okay to say “I’m sad that Techno is gone” without feeling like you’ll be shut down for feeling things. Hey Mr. Technodad
I've been dealing with anxiety and depression for a while now. Last night, I watched Tommy's video and all that grief just hit me like a truck.
I felt so guilty about how I felt, "What's wrong with me, I'm broken, I have no right to feel this way."
So that part after Skeppy opened up was really impactful to me. It hurts so much, but I'll try to keep moving forward, for both Techno and myself. I don't know how long this feeling of optimism will last, but thank you, Skeppy, Technodad, for everything you've done for the community.
You have every right to feel whatever you feel. You have nothing to feel guilty for. Your feelings are valid.
I put off getting treatment for my anxiety and depression for many years, and there was no good reason for it. Once I finally started to get treatment and started to feel better, I was like, "Why did I wait so long?"
I believe everyone deserves to experience joy and happiness and love in their life. Seek it out! Look for joy and happiness in every day, no matter how small.

The skeppy and techno duo was by far one of my favorites, and I have never seen skeppy this upset about something, and he had every right to do im not saying it’s weird he is upset. I am too, matter of fact I am on the verge of tears writing this. Skeppy stayed strong but I wish he could know that if he ever cried on stream for any reason no one would judge him. 😭

Last year, when Techno's death came to light, I had watched maybe like a compilation video or two of him. But when I saw Technodad explain the situation in the "So Long Nerds" video, even though I didn't know much about Techno, I started crying. It was a strange feeling, crying from something you didn't understand. A year later, I was interested enough to watch more of Techno, so now I guess I could consider myself a fan. And now that I do, it hurts. Wish I was there for his prime. However, thanks to Technodad, I feel like he lives on. So thanks to both of you for this video and for carrying on your friend's/son's legacy.
I was kind of the same way. I sobbed for someone I barely knew even as a content creator. It was devastating, even more so once I got to know his work
Thank you TechnoDad for holding our hands through this grief. And thank you for 1:24:52 in particular. I know that I really needed to hear that. It really lifted something heavy from my chest that I didn't even know was there, and it means so much to me and many others, I'm sure. You've given us a safe space, and a place to remember the good times with Techno while also allowing us to feel, and I really can't thank you enough. It means more than you know.

45:33 I love this. Techno wasn’t in the plane tho, he WAS the plane. He carried his teammates around and was like the us Air Force power wise. Unmatched even when 25 people teamed up against his 3 person team. This video just brings up so many of my favorite moments.
It’s really been a year. Hasn’t it. I love Technodad and Skeppy getting together like this. I thought I had begun to let the grief go, but seeing these videos and knowing a year has passed makes me burst into tears. I miss Technoblade so much for someone who hasn’t even met him. I was at work while listening to this.. and hearing Technodads dream... seeing how our brain tries to cope with a traumatic events, giving us a route to deny... and how strong technodad was to look reality in the face even though it hurts to. i had to go to the restroom to sob and cry.... and skeppy opening up too. Specially since that's exactly what I've been doing too, rewatching every single technoblade video and learning more about him by watching things i had already seen... Its so hard.. but it is very very important to grieve and cry, those emotions need an escape. It's the only way to heal. Thank you for sharing your experiences with us. You were family and friends of Techno, but plenty of us saw Techno as an important part of our life too. I'm fixing my life and trying to improve thanks to Technos last message to us.. hoping that we have a "long prosperous life.. because i love you guys.." I'll do it. I won't give up. He was there for me at my lowest, i owe him to keep trying my best. Thank you both.

Very true, I can barley watch a video that is an hour long, but the stories and memories that came out was worth watching the entire thing. Techno really has left the best memories for his fans, it makes me feel rather glad than sad about Techno when talking about him.

One if my faviorite moments in his videos is him being unable to loose his bedwars streak, even after playing without any weapons for a few rounds, so he eventually had to jump into the void.

I really needed this. I’ve gone from a normal family dynamic to losing everyone but my own two kids and wife in the last few years… I haven’t been able to bring myself to confront these feelings in a healthy way.
I’m not going to claim watching this “cured” me at all, but it has forced me to re examine how I’m doing and… phew it isn’t pretty lol
I just want to thank you technodad for being so introspective on your journey with grief.
The dreams don’t seem to stop, but at least now for me they become a glimpse at what was, instead of what isn’t. Keep your heads up. Lots of love.

I could go on and on telling of how Technoblade helped me, as when I found him I was in a really dark place, but im not going to say that now. What i will say is Thank You. Thank you to the community, who brought his happiness and humour into my life at the perfect time. Thank you for the fan creators who help him continue to grow and entertain amd live, even after his death. Thank you to Technodad and his family, who have helped so many of us in a heartbreaking time, even when they are also in probably worse pain than we are. Finally, thank you to Technoblade. He had such a great affect on so many people, and continued to help us, entertain us, and hello us grow even as he was struggling.
What i have to say next isn't to him, but to his family and community. As I assume most of you the same, I didn't know him personally. Even though this is true, I cam sari with upmost certainty that out of Everything he would have wanted after his death, it would be to yes, grieve, but to also pick ourselves back up, and share the happiness he gave. He did what go did to share happiness, and entertain. Wallowing in your grief will not let you grow to share the love and hope that was from him. If you are somehow reading this Technodad, I hope you know that it wasn't your fault. There was nothing you could do, and he would not want you blaming yourself. I know firsthand the pain and sadness jn losing someone you love or look up to, and the sadness will always be there, but we must never forget the happy things he did and why he did them.
Please do something kind to yourself and to someone else today :) . Blood for the Blood God, Technoblade Never Dies. Remember, no matter what, you are not Alone. You are One of Us.

One year ago he passed i still remember that night. I still think of him and miss him a lot but things have gotten a lot better. I love his "I almost became an amputy" video becuade of how positive he was. His humor, positivity, intelligence, and care for his fans were all things that made him great and who he his. He was the most positive person I know and the most displayed. He had the strongest mind out of anyone I've ever known.I also want to say thank you Techno and TechnoDad for everything thank you for all the extra stuff you've done for us TechnoDad. hearing that im allowed to feel the grief i do made me sob so hard. i always felt like i didnt have a right to feel the way i do because i didnt know techno personally. but i just feel so many things even when someone says his name.... i feel like i shouldnt be sad so i would never talk about it, but lately ive been crying alot more than usual about it. its just so tragic and painful i just wish he was here. and technodad has just been an amazing support to all of us and we are so lucky to have such a wonderful person sharing about techno. much love to you technodad and i hope you know that this community is here for you as much as you are for us. i am so so grateful. The feeling of making a joke instead of feeling the grief and feeling the reality of the situation is so hard to express, especially if you feel like if you express it you’ll have your feelings denounced or belittled. Having a father presence hopefully helped Zak and everyone else at home to feel safe in the fact that it’s okay to say “I’m sad that Techno is gone” without feeling like you’ll be shut down for feeling things.
