    I seriously prefer this song over the original "blurred lines". It's not even close.
    For Wierd Al, if you are already familiar with the Star Wars series, you *must* react to Wierd Al, "The Saga Begins". But *_do not_* watch it unless you have seen episodes 1-3.

    This is my favorite Weird Al song; love me some clever wordplay. I'm a grammar nerd, and one of those people from a certain generation who cringes when things are spelled or pronounced poorly. I have to constantly resist the urge to correct it. If you have a genuine learning disability that's one thing, but so much of it is just laziness.

      @jaredwonnacott9732 Месяц назад +2

      Laziness like how you probably say piano instead of pianoforte, bus instead of omnibus, or fort instead of fortress?
      A lot of things that Grammer nerds call laziness or improper English are actually just natural parts of language development. We're constantly going through new vowel shifts somewhere in the country, and we're constantly adding new words, redefining old words, and even adding meaning and connotation to words that are otherwise consistent. Language is a living, growing, fluid thing that is never stagnant and always changing.
      Some things are just wrong, but not because of the "rules" so much as because they cause confusion in communication, which is, of course, the opposite of what language is supposed to do.

    • @kelqueen9998
      @kelqueen9998 Месяц назад +5

      @@jaredwonnacott9732 I agree with you about language constantly changing, and mostly I don't have a problem with that.
      Maybe laziness isn't really the word I should have used. Willful ignorance maybe. Not caring about the difference between there, their, and they're. Awe instead of awww. (Or vice versa) Expecially, pacific, could of, etc. The most recent one I've been seeing is weary instead of wary.
