Do you remember Gex? It was a franchise released by Crystal Dynamics, and there were 3 mainline games released. How do these games stand up now? How do I feel about them? Take a seat!
I busted out my 3DO FZ-1 two years ago to see if it still worked and had a lot of fun playing Gex and Super Turbo again...I'm glad my 3DO is still kicking.
Beating a game is often worth it. No matter the generation, platform, series, genre, ect... you completed an adventure that was undertaken by a group of people. You share this experience with them, and in all likelihood, you will never forget your time with Gex. I haven't and my time with the series started back in 1993/1994'ish when the 3DO was brand new. At the time, I had a Sega Genesis/Sega CD and Snes. My cousin had the Genesis and Snes but chose to skip the Sega CD. He wound up getting a 3DO w/Crash n' Burn and Gex as his two first games (I was a bit jelly). We played through Gex together over the course of the summer of 1994. I wound up getting an Atari Jaguar for Doom and I got AVP on the same day as well. We had a super 32-bit vs 64-bit showdown of sorts that summer (he had more games by that time). To me the Jag was king of FPS's and the 3DO did everything else great. We both dumped our "super consoles" for the Saturn and Playstation in 9/9/95 (we both worked).

Yeah my FZ-1 still works as well, and when I get bored, I bench press it, because it's the same weight as a CRT it seems lmfao.

It was definitely a trip down memory lane to play them all lol.
Also Mitch Hedberg is pretty good. Haven’t thought about him in years though.
Yeah, it sucks he passed away.
I’m betting we’re getting these on Evercade later this year.
Wouldn't be shocked!
Great video! What an effort to beat all these!
…shame if someone would make you un-beat one of these 😈
Banned lmao
