Thank you for this video. Showed the video to my brother and we used his lift to get underneath the car. Remove plug and used compressed air into the A/C drain hose and the water gushed out. Was going to take the car to repair shop the next day, but this video saved me serious money.
My wife bought a 2020 Tucson, temperature start rising outside and A/C obviously was needed, she told me several times that there was a noise in the passenger side under the dash and as mentioned it was every time she did a left turn. I start searching for common issues on this particular model and year, but nothing seems to be our problem, then i went little bit more specific about condensation and here you are saving us a trip to the shop. I used a hanger to unclog the line and like everybody else with this problem a lot of water gushed out. Thank you!!
Thank you so much man, been looking for that sloshing sound when doing a left turn, followed your instructions and indeed a ton of water flowed out afterwards.
Many thanks for your excellent video and commentary! Just completed a clean out of the drain tube in our 2020 Tucson and it did the trick! Used a sharpened end of a narrow plastic stick to break through about 1/2” of gunk, and ‘thar she blows’!
Yes! That left turn! Same thing happened with my 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport. Will try this fix maybe with shop vac. Thank you for the visual repair/maintenance.
Thank you! We just got a 2020 Tucson and after about 8 weeks we noticed the front passenger matt area was soaked. I used a hanger to get the hose clear. A lot of water came out! Thank you again.
Thank you so much for this video. Right now I'm driving a Hyundai Accent with that same problem, when I turn on the A/C and make a turn I hear a strange noise and after that I see water dripping from under the dash at the passenger seat. I'll try what you did and hope to solve it myself. 😅
Have a 2016 Hyundai Elantra. Same problem. 1. Thanks for the fix 2. Interesting insight... what Hyundai ignore/allow across at least 5 years of model manufacturing
For anyone who said it didn’t work for them. Hopefully this helps. It did not work for me either with a regular ziptie. I had to use a long plastic wire. Had to go really deep until water finally gushed out. So before you give up on this solution, try a longer wire.
I have this same issue with my 2017 Hyundai Tucson Lmt, I'm eager to try this when I get home from work tonight. Thx 👍 Update: did what you said to do and it worked, thanks you saved me some money.🙂
Thxs for the video - I did run into a little bit of a challenge locating the drainage pipe and needed something else other than zip tie because it was not firm enough. Once I did that the water did indeed come gushing out. 😊 I’m really ecstatic I was able to do this myself. 👩🏽🔧
Nice one kam, I had the same prob with my 2011 Hyundai Touring at the weekend. I was wondering what that trickling noise was last week! Anyways, I carefully poked an straightened wire coat hanger up the tube and sure enough...gush! Thanks!
I have a 2020 Hyundai tuscan I have noticed a leak on front passenger floorboard , now when I make a left turn I hear a noise hard to describe 😅 when ac running I am hoping it's a quick fix like you shared in your video much appreciated ❤
Is it possible to get water on the drivers side with this issue as well? Passenger side was soaked, did your recommendation and water gushed out. But curious if I might have a different issue on the drivers side.
Just use some computer duster with the little straw it comes with. Spray it up the drain tube for a couple seconds and it should unclog. I tried zip tie, hanger, chicken wire and none worked. Compressed air worked right away.
Wonder how many hyundais have this issue. I have a 2022 elantra limited hybrid. And a week after buying car have had alot of ac issues. 1st issue was a rotten feet smell coming from vents than the driver side was blowing hot air but was set to coldest. Drove to dealership while it was still doing it. They replaced blend door actuator. Than the water dripping inside car. They cleaned the hose. Its been less than a month and its dripping inside again. I regret buying this car.

Shop did it for me for $30. Not too bad.
Thank you so so much..I'm a senior woman, fixed income...I'm so proud of myself..I did it with your help!!
Fantastic, thanks for sharing! Easy fix for two problems with our 2017 Tucson at once (wet floor and noise when turning left)!
Same exact thing with my 2022 Kona. Only on left turns 😂
I had this issue with a 2009 Hyundai Sonata I appreciate the time you took to share this!

This worked like a charm on my 2018. Thank you so much for posting this video
You saved me $150 dollars! Hyundai wanted me to just dropped the car to check! Who knows what else they would of have come with to add more cost!
Thank you so much ! We just did it. It saved us time, money and possibly future damages.
Thx a lot Kam!! I had this weird noise when I turned left, I'll do that to fixe it!!
Thank you! Happened to my 2018 Tuscon. Worked like a charm!!

Thank you for the video. I have a 2019 Hyundai Ioniq. Same solution worked. I was afraid it may be a big problem.
Nice one kam, I had the same prob with my 2011 Hyundai Touring at the weekend. I was wondering what that trickling noise was last week! Anyways, I carefully poked an straightened wire coat hanger up the tube and sure enough...gush! Thanks!
Thanks so much for the video. Off to fix mine now 😊
My man!
Can I assume you can use a tub drain hair thing? How about a keyboard aerosol air spray thing?
Great to the point informative succinct just the way I like

What if there’s water on the driver side? Can the same thing be the reason for it
Very helpful! Thank you!
Thank you for the video!!!!!

Hi, big tanks from France, i have thé same, problem, i just use my compressor and it's done.
Tanks bro
Thanks
Can you just put a shop vac on the end of the hose?
Answered my own question yes you can
Question for Hyundai owners - did the leak only appear AFTER the windshield was replaced?
Not in my case…
Thanks bro! Good info
I have the cover underneath 😢. Id how to even begin
Tried this. Didn’t work for me. May try again with a longer prod to reach clog
There isn't freon or any other toxin in that liquid, is there? ...I believe you said it is most likely solely condensation. ...
