Great video. how about creating comments?
Hi Simon, I'll be making a video about likes and comments soon! Keep an eye out.
Thank you so much for the videos! hope to see more videos on a twiiter clone? 😉😉
More to come!
Helpful video series, thanks! Question: what if you wanted to see all the tweets from Beach Boy? It seems like you could do this one of two ways: create a multi-value attribute on the User table called Tweets, which is a collection of Tweets. Or, you have the Created By attribute built into the Tweets table, so a search of the Tweets table where Created By = Beach Boy is possible. Is one of those two approaches recommended if you're trying to build something that scales? Which is more efficient, in other words, if you know? My database and SQL skills are rusty, but I know this is essentially a "foreign key" strategy question, but I'm curious if Bubble's database works differently from traditional databases. Thanks for any input or advice!!
Great question! In this case I would have the CreatedBy field on the Tweets table. It's a personal preference and easier to work with when building out workflows (in my opinion). A rule of thumb for performance I have heard (but don't quote me) is if the list has >100 records (or has the potential for it) then do it this way. If it a shorter list (
Wondering when you will create video explaining how to do - follow and unfollow @Build Apps Without Code

When's the next one? ;)
