- Authorities have uncovered human remains from the basement of a home in the Wissinoming section of Philadelphia.
The home, in the 5200 block of Burton Street, has been the focus of a police investigation this week.
Police tell Action News that bone fragments from a human foot were uncovered about four feet under the concrete on Thursday.
However, work to uncover more remains was hindered after the basement flooded due to Thursday and Friday's heavy rain. Crews had to pump water out. #bodyfound #philadelphia

I've never understood how anyone could murder another person and be okay with it.
Very sad.
Life is complicated.
And live with the remains, with no problem. Yet having complete comprension of the wereabouts of the person being soute (i was corrected its sought) My condolences to her family. 🙏
@@carpo719 It is never complicated enough to murder someone .
But then you’ll support these mass murdering troops, and these money driven wars
Worse! Murdering someone, burying them in the basement, then living there for years - as if nothing unusual occurred.
A hoarding house? I don’t envy the evidence collectors. This is a forensic nightmare.
Yea they even hoarded a body.. said they just couldn’t bear to get rid of her 🥴
exactly
They’ve probably collected everything else but they felt they needed to add a corpse to fill their bucket list?
"At least they found her." Yea at the very least. Praying for Justice for her and her family. 🙏
Do they know who the girl is?
@@josephlynn8919 I think waiting for DNA results. They "think" she's been missing for 8years, but won't release a name without confirmation. Im just praying she's not a child if her family lived there for years... More to come.
@Jennifer Pruitt it's very probable and plausible.
Wait. They poured 4 feet of concrete on top of her? Whoever gave the tip probably did it or watched it happen 8 years ago. Horrible.
No....I think they said the body was 4 feet under the cement slab. That's how I took it...
@@timgreen1835 That still implies murder or a death cover up that the body was PLACED under 4 feet of concrete (poured or slab)!
Most old homes on the east coast have dirt floors they buried her 4 feet deep in dirt then put 4-6 in of concrete like a normal floor on top
@@timgreen1835 That's the way I read it too. Really so inhumane. 😥😢
Many killers end up confiding in people about their crimes, that’s more likely where the tip came from.
Pleased they never gave up. Rest in Peace. Nobody deserves that.
I’d be very concerned for the welfare of the rest of the family members- especially if there are vulnerable persons (minors, elderly, disabled)- for a hoarder to leave their home & all their belongings… regardless of the body- it does not bode well…
Hoarders don't just leave their stuff for sure, prayers for this family 🙏
I don't know the particulars of this case, so I'll just say as gruesome as it is, I hope the lady has family who will see to it her remains are laid to rest in a proper burial.
I hope whoever is responsible for ending her life & concealing her death, is brought to justice!
It sounds like it was her family that buried her under their house…
@@lolawants2008 Exactly!
@Sun 🔆 Shine 🔆 not necessarily in a hoarder house situation. If there were minors or even adults guilty or clueless- dissociation is the name of the game. Additionally if it’s in a basement filled with concrete it shouldn’t really smell, body would be sealed up. Even if it did- depending on how bad the hoard is- often they live with trash, sewage, dead animals under piles that they don’t even know are there. Humans can get used to quite a lot…
@Sun 🔆 Shine 🔆 buried 4 feet under a newly poured concrete floor?! No they wouldn't smell her.
@@kellypatterson4412 Yup…betcha 10:1 they’d poured lye over her body prior to pouring that concrete into that hole to cover the body odor.
Stuff like this is always happening. These ppl who go missing they probably are murdered and put in forest and never found or places such as this. God bless this person and Im so glad they finally found the person.
My cousin has been missing since November 2017. She was killed, apparently. I know who did it.
So true
When I die I want buried in a forest. But to be hidden in a basement or thrown in a dump is so disrespectful that a person who does this does it premeditated. Death penalty. Treat people as they treat others.
@@wandasanders9043then stop posting about it go kidnap the person
I can't understand how someone could live in a house with a body in it. So sad for those in the house that didn't know she was there. And tragic for the woman who lost her life. Prayers to the innocent.
They were guarding it.
Can't help but wonder if they collected her benefits all those years.
they never gave age, so what benefits are you talking of?
@@avanulaneway8418 I’m not the original poster, but there are previous cases where SSI, insurance, trust fund, lottery, child support, foster program payment and even cash sent by family in cards have all been collected for years after the intended recipient was dead/missing. I believe it was the category of robbery @Badluck Bart was hypothesizing about.
How did they know to look for her, and that she was under 4 feet of concrete?
I am asking myself that same question, and if the person probably give a hint to a friend and they told the authorities. This is really sad.
They received an anonymous tip that the woman was buried in the basement.
Loose lips sink ships
More like 4 inches I bet .
@@roberthance2412 I can believe it was 4 ft under the level of the basement slab. The earth isn’t that hard and depending on how old the home is, many older homes had dirt cellars to bed in with anyway…so digging down another 4 ft wouldn’t be nothing at all.
Remember, they did this so that the animals couldn’t smell the body. They likely poured lye over her then poured the concrete in the hole to conceal the odor.
Sad sad sad. So sorry for the lady who lost her life. Thoughts and prayers to her family and friends and may the killer be found. I hope the pets are going to be okay.
Pure evil! However glad she's been found 🙏🏽
Your god was pure evil in the Bible too.
Sounding like a Cold Case just got some heat added.
They say four feet under the concrete, not under four feet of concrete.
0:42-1:02 First she said buried in the concrete floor but then goes on to say buried approximately 4 ft under it. She doesn’t specify whether or not concrete was poured into that hole to cover the body up but that might be the case to hide the odor of the rotting flesh…specially in the summer months.
If you can't take care of a pet why own one 🤔😔
Seriously 😒? They lost track of a entire person in that house let alone take care of any kittens 😑! Ppl of that family got some explaining to do for sure!
Very sad but glad there is some kind of closure also hope the animals are ok sounds lie they may have been starving if noone had been there for alittle bit
That basement must be haunted these years..
Ghosts are not real.
cant wait to see on NUKES TOP 5!!!! lmao
@@lancevangen6485 you're not real
Yeah there's no such thing as a haunting.
Spirit floats around the house.
Poor kittens! I hope they get good homes.
What about the freaking people?💀
@@nyko663 Exactly Exactly 💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
Only 2 of the kittens. Your City's Finest?????
So forget the woman that’s dead hu? Let’s all pray for the kitties..
So who's the woman that went missing 8 years ago?...
Exactly.
Wacky reporting.
The family might not have notified, yet, and police might want to do that before it's announced.
Emily Soother
I don't know you but I'm glad you will have a proper place to be at peace. So sad 😔
Just like in “Stir of Echoes” with Kevin bacon.
Yep
How they didn't know her body was in that basement for 8 years
Because she was buried and poured cement on the body it would've not smelled
The people living there did it, they haven't been seen in a few days so
Well done investigators.
They got a tip, so no real investigation.
@@samsmom1491 g
But who is the woman and what the circumstances around her disappearance?
She was buried within the concrete ? Is that correct ? That neighbor in the video is correct, at least they found her, and local law enforcement can begin to identify her and solve the case.
Personally, I have questions regarding the death of my infant daughter and family members.
Buried 4 ft under the concrete floor. Concrete is about 3 to 4 inches thick
@@Pops-km8xt that's more like it .
This sounds like a Soprano's episode. May she rest in peace 🕊
Not at all lady, there was not an episode that that happened so your delusional....if u pay close attention they dump remains at sea ....dummy
The child’s hair had me lol in the middle of a tough story! 😂 May her family find peace.
My 👀 were glued to that baby's hair. 😂
Humans remains found. Ya worry bout the kid's hair, how weird can ya be?
@@wasupman777 I bet you are a ton of fun to be around.
How awful, prayers for the family, and hope they are caught.
What was the tip to dig in the cellar after 8 years
Hoarder house???, basement flooded, to me this sounds like the lady died, and collecting SS $...or Disability $ and the family buried her, and just kept collecting.
I am SO impressed that your station was the FIRST to report this.
I'll be sure to include that information in my Christmas news letter.
Listening to a police scanner, going to the address surrounded by police and forensic teams is pure genius, dedication and professionalism.
😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣
1:05 if y’all don’t give that baby that mic 🎤 lol
Appalling
May justice reign. Too much violence.
Does anyone know *who* the Victim is? The report said they were Missing before being found deceased & usually a Public Outreach is done with Missing Persons Cases where the person's name, age, race & other relevant info is released, so ppl can be on the lookout for the person that's missing.
Sad
Oh how terribly sad 🧡🙏
You mean to tell me that nobody in the neighborhood found anything suspicious leading up to this investigation. 🤔
R.I.P🤍🙏🏾🕊️ my prayers and condolences to the victims family, friends, love ones, and ALL who knows and loves the person. I pray that their family, friends, love ones, and ALL who knows and loves them knows that he is no longer in pain and RESTING IN HEAVEN WITH GOD AND JESUS CHRIST AMEN🤍🙏🏾.
So was this person buried by the hoarder or did they move in after?
I'm wondering the samething
Them people lived in that house
The people that lived in that house lived there way before 8 years so they have to know who lived in there because I lived on the block since 2015 so they have to know who did it
My thought at the moment... the person who called in the tip was the very person who killed and covered the woman (probably her significant other) and I'm thinking that person left the house to end their own life and possibly other dependents such as child , elder or someone mentally incapable of self care considering the fact that they said "people" who live there haven't been seen for days. I'm very curious why there isn't more of an urgency in finding those other people.
Police have been there for days. They've probably been locked out of the crime scene.
Because the neighbors haven't seen them but the authorities probably know where they are.
Wow
Hoarding to hide the body perhaps
Listen to the report again. They body was about 4 feet under the concrete floor. So the body was pretty well hid.
Who was the missing woman?
Well at least the kittens are safe 💀
Exactly! Sorry for the lady buried there but something good came out of it!
Philadelphia really has problems these days
The whole world is like this tbh
It's a dem run city. Nothing new
Filthydelphia
It’s everywhere
So this video has an ad about leaky basements or basement with cracks.
Do you think that's appropriate
When mad day comes someone will spill the beans, soooo sad that this evil exists.
🙏🕊🕊
Can someone link the original missing person story?
Christina Aguilera was her name
I don't think they're trying to do that yet because they probably are trying to identify her completely and don't want to alarm any family or anything yet
Millions of people in America, are still tucked away.
What’s wrong with ppl?
The baby was like I need to hear some good news
Speechless 🙌🙌
Ew imagine the smell in that home
Sorry for your loss
In the floor oh my gosh
🙏🥀🕯️🕊️
How did they know to look here?
@susanfudge1737 if you listen they said someone called in a tip.
These professionals handling this matter should make a lot more money than they do!
Why is this world we call home so ugly and the people among us monsters . Makes me sick.
Who is this missing girl they’re even talking about? You failed to mention any names
Crime in Philly.......that's odd
Thanks for not telling us anything
About time to reopen cold case
insane
How competent. They can at least rescue two kittens. Didn't know a thing about a missing person or murder until someone TOLD them. Now they have to halt their "investigation" because they've let it flood. This has to be a THREE. STOOGES. MOVIE. Unbelievable.. Now I understand why the Cities streets look like they do with all the drug addicts, alcoholics, and homeless and mentally impaired. Your FINEST at work. 🙏 for you.
Wow Stir of Echoes much
🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽⚖️⚖️⚖️
WAAAAITTTT, WHO GAVE THE TIP?! That's a random tip. I bet it was the murderer or lover of the murderer. This is sickening! And the family that lives there JUST SO HAPPEN to have not been seen for two days.... Yeah, sounds like it was their family member they killed, and the guilt got to them, so they relieved themselves of the guilt and fled!
Ugh what a mess. Should’ve just tore the house down and let her lay where she at. Who knows why she was murdered. Who knows who she is? When people go missing and nobody knew they were missing they may have asked for it. Just sayin.
It’s not like they said “oh we found the remains of bla bla bla. She’s been missing and we been lookin for her”
Naw they said we found a body apparently she been missing for 8 years. 🤷🏼♀️
Dang 🤦🏽♀️
Poor lady 🕯️
Horrifying!
I've come to realize that Philadelphia is pretty dangerous! She may have killed by a serial killer family! How terrible 😔
Soooo, whoever lived in the house eight years ago is where.?
Who was the person that was missing and now found?
Omg I missed this story. Been following the Idaho one
Just because you live on the same block doesn't mean you really know your neighbors, it's weirdos all over Philadelphia .
Especially people who committed crimes from 1976 there still in America getting rich off of deplorable conditions illegally they know it’s terrisom
I hope they put warrants out on family members to get them back. Someone knows something.
Wow.
This happened in nc and wv.
Sarah Hill nc. And the girl in Princeton wv, was 14.
R.i.p
How can you sleep knowing you took a life 😳😳😳
If witness didnt want to be identified but his mug is on national tv
that baby is so adorable omg
Who is her?
It’s like the movie “Stir Of Echoes”
So this is were we are at now, little girls are buried under concrete now! Get that justice, charge everyone who knew or associated with the murderer! Give eem the book
This news report didn't say " little girls were buried in concrete" It said A woman's remains were found. Stay with them..they gon bless you if u just listen 👂 correctly. Rewind it a couplebof times. You might learns something. I get so aggravated when people DONT listen!!

Somebody in the house had to know something how did anyone know there was somebody buried in their basement for 8 years. That just doesn't add up I'm going to be honest with you I think the person that did it confess because they can't live with the fact that they know that someone was in their basement I live on this block and it's very disturbing I've lived here since 2015
Captain of homicide sure looks cool
Simply not human sad 😢
Is it Amanda Deguio I wonder.
Jesus H Christ 😢
S#!t Happens!
I wonder how many of us have neighbors who have bodies buried under their house my basement would be perfect for burying ppl a creepy cold dirt floor. electric is down there too It's creepy I have never even explored it all and been here 7yrs 🏠 was built in 1918
So they took 2 kittens but decided the rest could just wait !OK THAT REALLY HAD 2 SCRATCH MY HEAD ON THAT 1
They could probably hear more but can't get to them yet with the hoarded stuff.
Maybe they weren't able to catch all of them until they remove more stuff to get better access to get to hiding places, or it might've been too risky to clamber around on piles of stuff if the kittens were hiding under it
Poor baby cats. 🙏🏼♥️
Girl do you know cats? Specifically cats that are practically feral bc they live in a hoard, probably have health issues on top of inbreeding lol. Don’t scratch your head.
Oddly similar to the movie "Stir of Echoes"
